What have been your favourite series(es) of the X Factor? (Multiple choice)
I haven't seen a multiple choice poll up before and I think sometimes multiple choice polls show up people's preferences better than single-choice ones. So here we are!
I have included the current series even though we're only a short way into the lives. But I think we've seen enough to judge if we like it or not (return of Mrs O, who all the contestants are, a couple performances, etc) |

5 - (For Alexandra and JLS)
3 - (For Leona only) 7 - (For the entertainment) But 5 comes top of the list for me personally. |

Series 5 and 7 had a massive range of talent
Series 6 had a lot of potential and Jedward...remember the outcry over Jed...ahh happy fond memories Series 8 would be in with a shout if Frankie had ****ed off in Week 1. Nope, still not over James Michael. Never. |

5 - Amazing range of different acts.
7 - Same as 5, though the Aiden fix annoyed me ![]() 8 - Little Mix ![]() Current - Seems really good so far. |

Series 7 I think was the shows peak, it's been going downhill ever since then.

There definitely seems to be a peak in the middle here. I personally think last series was dire.

Top 5:
S5 S3 S7 S6 S2 followed by Series 8 and 9 and 10 (not sure in what order) I thought the 1st and 4th series were the worst. I was obsessed with everything X Factor in the 5th series with Diana, Ruth, Alexandra, JLS, etc... brilliant year. |

5, 6, 7 and 8. Interest dwindled last year early enough, and this year I really don't care.

Ha
I love how people always complain about series 8 but its the third here, it only comes after series 7 for me.. imo X Factor is all about talent mixed with marketability and both series had a great bunch regarding that.

Series 5-7 were the show's peak imo. People used to actually talk about the XF (offline) back then...

1. Series 2: For Shayne Ward.
2, Series 3: For Leona Lewis and Robert Allen. 3. Whichever series Joe McElderry won. 5. Whichever series Lucie Jones was done over by Simon Cowell in favour of Jedward. Rich, x |

For me it would be:
- Series 5 (Great lot of contestants and the show really emerged as quite the juggernaut) - Series 7 (X Factor was at it's all time biggest, the hype was insane and I loved it) - Series 10 (Might surprise some people on here but I love the panel and the contestants) |

Series 5, without question.
And it was the only series luckily that I managed to get tickets to see one of the live shows, Leona Lewis was guesting. |

Series 2 was the first I ever really got into so I have fond memories of it, even if I'd probably think it was rubbish now
Also enjoyed Series 3 and Series 6, and I actually really like this series - I like lots of the acts and I think the judging panel is great, particularly Sharon A big improvement on the previous series imo. Series 5 remains my all time favourite though.

I haven't got a clue which series was which. I only remember the odd contestant and have no idea what series they came from!
