Didn't think the kids were THAT bad. Thought there might have been a bit of a puzzle to them actually.(like they'd turn out to be Androids or something)maybe there still will be something about them. Really liked the cyberman episode too.

I think a lot of people had written the kids off before the episode even aired. I remember reading the complaints on here when people heard there was an episode coming up that featured them. I guess that's what happens when you go into an episode expecting the kids to be really annoying and bad. You just end up looking for the bad bits and not just enjoying the episode. (which was a great episode. Best cyberman episode since the relaunched series began-although that's probably not a hard thing to say)

Good god I hope not they were two of the most annoying characters to ever appear in Doctor Who.

I don't think it's just people's expectations; the kids, especially Angie, really were written as stereotypical brats. As I've said, given how they were written, I don't think the young actors did nearly as bad a job as many make out.

I actually wouldn't necessarily mind a comeback for them, as long as their characters are re-thought.
