Whats been the best EE storyline in the Kirkwood and Newman era?
Tom-Bennett.

Between 2010 - 2013
Mines Heathers murder, nothing else comes close. Can't think of any other entertaining story lines in the past 3 years, there's been good single episodes e.g Billy's death. Hopefully with the new boss in things will get better

Kikwood storyline wise, Lorraine just rebuilt the Beale's and did nothing storyline wise!

BK started Laurens alcohol story, Lorraine just finished it!

So that means she brought nothing to the show

The Yusef storyline was good I thought, as was Heather's death.

BK era Whitneys sex exploitation and Heather's murder, that's pretty much all I got.

LN era???????? sorry I'v got nothing........ erm she restored Kat I guess but that's not really a storyline is it?

That was good actually. However I thought bk did the paedophile storyline. Santer gets crap on here but that one was amazing

lol at all the ppl that say heather murder.. That story was heavily flawed the moment the story dictated audiences should sympathise with such a despicable/cold/bitter character as shirley.

I agree with crowd that say the billie's death, it just felt earnest. The connor stuff tho heavily panned, really highlighted carol's despair. Would've said yusef but that s/l could only progress by characters (we have come to know and love) acting out of character.Tell tale of bad writing

I had a MASSIVE soft spot for Tanya's Cancer

Billie's death but think that was due to outstanding acting - without the acting especially from Lindsay Coulson it wouldn't have been anything special as essentially Billie actually spent the entire episode on the sofa and it would have been easy to just have him die and effectively forget all about it really very quickly.

There's been a couple of good episodes this year IMO but couldn't name a full decent story in the LN era

Kirkwood
Hevs murder/reveal
Billies death
Michael stealing Jeans money
Janine/Michaels wedding

Can't think of any of Newmans work that I liked.

The baby swap was a bad idea but I enjoyed it.

The recent gang storyline wasn't too bad either.

There looks to be upcoming stuff for Carl, Phil, Max and Ian so that should be interesting.
