Overall, Emmerdale's plane crash and original storm, Corrie's Hillman's canal drive and Brookside's explosions are the best stunts I've seen. The flood/siege in Emmerdale this year was pretty epic too and the best car crash I've ever witnessed is Gennie's this year; just so raw.
In terms of drama, Steve Owen's final moments in the crash with Phil were absolutely amazing. Also Bradley's stunt death in the live episode was NUTS.
In terms of overall scope and scale, the Corrie tram crash cannot be beaten. 7 episodes including a live episode set in the carnage, the set being destroyed twice (for filming the episodes, and then again for the live episode), the huge Joinery explosion followed by the crash itself, and the fallout explosions and fires in the Street along with all the storylines reaching a head made it a week of soap which will be incredibly difficult for any soap to beat on the whole.”
