You are quite right of course, the horsey, foxy, badger chasing clique don't prime themselves on Strictly and end up ticking their cards in Mecca Bingo, you come across these types turning their noses up and looking down on you when you go for all night walks in the forests to disrupt the badger chasing, these types definitely do not like it up them when they can't satisfy their lust for the hunt, and they can't do that with random volunteer wildlife rangers wandering about.

Deborah does well to draw a cloak over her being part of the horsey, foxy, badger chasing clique, but her laugh is a real give away.

Many thought that Deborah should have gone last week instead of Julien and there is merit to this view, the question is can she cling on again to her Strictly place this week if she puts in the worst dance like last week. I'm sure that even the most avid horsey fan would say no?

Terry, that is so rude about Deborah! She is a lovely woman.

Deborah did look better in heels this week, and she does do that stuck up face look very well, but as Craig said it was a disaster, and for me another below par performance so she should be in the dance off if there is any justice.

I thought she did ok, and she looked lovely. There are worse dancers, imo, she doesn't deserve to be in the dance off after tonight.

Many have already said that Deborah should have been in the dance off and gone last week, so there will be no great surprise if she were to end up in the dance off tonight, I guess we shall just have to wait and see what happens tonight Julie.

I don't think anyone will be surprised that Deborah is in the dance off tonight, she should off been there last week, but who with, that's the question? Any ideas?

Deborah is loving Strickly (and, incidentally, dancing) so much she can't contain her joy, and thus she lights up my Saturday evenings more than any glitter and glamour can do.

If justice is done she won't last much longer but worse dancers and worse personalities have shown that often justice is not done and I hope this series is one of those occasions for Deborah and me

Robins tears were genuine but it was time to say farewell to Deborah, she had a face like thunder and looked furious but she did well to conceal it and appear gracious when she had to speak, at least we got the right result for once, I expected Deborah to wear a face like that, she is not a woman that likes to be told.

I think that even Deborah fans would concede that she has had a good run and that tonight was the right time for her to leave the show.

You really are delusional. There were at least 3 couples that should have gone before her.

Well that's me off Terry's Christmas card list then. I owned three horses, rode regularly but never went hunting - cruel and not a sport IMO. Chasing badgers is illegal - they're protected unless a cull is authorised. I don't believe in culling badgers. I believe all wildlife has it's place in nature and leave food out for foxes, birds and squirrels (even grey ones) in my small garden. You obviously haven't met many country people. Believe it or not, they're mostly ordinary people struggling to make a living - and horses are a lot cheaper to keep than children and they don't answer back or get teenage strops.

Interesting that Terry knows Deborah so intimately.

Thought it a real shame that she went this week. Her upset and that of Robin were genuine. But until we're down to the last 7 or 8 it doesn't really matter who goes in what order. Although she wouldn't have gone on to the final, she was obviously fully committed and thoroughly enjoying herself. Came across as a really lovely person.

Please let me reassure you there is no nastiness intended, if the truth be told Deborah was lucky not to have gone on last weeks performance, I agree that this week she was better and possibly should not have gone before others this week upon reflection, but you cannot alter the fact that Deborah is not a woman who likes to be told, the truth is often unpalatable.

You also seem to forget about the poor small business's that have sacrificed in some cases 40% of their companies equity in return for her time and mentoring only to see her swanning off on a Strictly Come Dancing Jolly, if you ask them for an opinion on Miss Meaden's Strictly adventure you are likely and to get quite a blunt response and its easy to understand why.

Of course you are not off my Christmas card list Janet, the equestrian world is a complicated one and there are a number of categories of horse ownership and as you have explained you do not fall into the same category of horse ownership as Deborah, when you come across these people in the forrest at night it is not hard to tell the difference.

Hear hear. Well said. And thank you on behalf of badgers

The badgers deserve to have people on their side, that's why the night time protest walks in the forests are proving so successful, much to the annoyance of those that try to brainwash us into believing that badgers are harmful, they do not like to have their activities disrupted and are not backward in coming forward to tell you so.

It would be unfair to say for sure that Deborah is involved in these clandestine culls but her air is remarkably similar to that of those that we have encountered so far.

I neglected to praise your commitment to wildlife Janet, it is a passion that we share, who would have thought it.

In answer to your other point, whilst I do not know Deborah personally, I have been known for my insight.

Then you will know that most of her horses, dogs, pigs etc. are rescue animals and that she is very active in animal welfare organisations, for both wild and domestic animals - and, as a passionate animal lover, certainly will not be involved in hunting of any kind.
She seems to be a lovely person and was very sad at leaving, not angry.

Unfortunately Deborah's facial expression told me quite a different story, which was a shame.

Then you misread it, she was very sad and was trying not to show emotion and stay strong for Robin. She seems to have been very popular with the other celebrities and pros - all have said they are very sorry to see her leave.

I could have misread it Liz, it is just how it seemed to me at the time, but I always take notice of others opinions to re assess my own view on things.

You can't tell what a person is like from their facial expression or what they do on a TV show, although you can easily tell when a bad joke is being offered, as we do every week on a Saturday evening. You have many sides to your opinions depending on their reception - 50 shades of grey.

We are all guilty of judging people from their facial expression within the first few seconds of seeing them Janet.

There are no bad jokes on Strictly Come Dancing, each week we are treated to some fabulous golden oldies from Sir Bruce for us to enjoy.

I have to admit that having an open mind is a cross that I have to bear, I have already said that I am going to watch Deborah with fresh eyes on It Takes Two this evening and see where we go from there.
