Probably charted on the Vodafone Big Top 40 chart that's aired across the country on local stations, Capital and Heart

He didn't get number 1 (he got number 2), usually a sign of the beginning of the end basically, in a time when sales aren't that great too.

Good grief! Do people seriously buy his & that **** Cardles music?!
How can anyone wanna buy into these two munchkins 'repertoire'. Both artists screamed for credibility, yet fail to understand there's nowt credible about wanting to be taken seriously on anything X-F related. Matt Cardles media 'transformation' is on par with some of Bowies best costume changes! I mean, he's unrelatable to the man he once was! |

Singles sales are pretty high at the moment by the way. |

I like James Arthur's single but the man is such an odious little creep there's no way I will support him financially and I'm not looking forward to his ego expanding even more if he does chart well.

Number 2 isn't that bad... although it seems like he wanted to perform when his album was out and focus on getting number 1 on the album instead.

Sales of 64k would have made number one most weeks. Not bad.

Ironically Matt Cardle sold 70,000+ on his debut and got to number one, JA is digging his own grave.

His arrogance, his rudeness, his unpleasantness is really going to cost him in the long run. Shame, because he's SO talented. |

"Well, there you go," Cardle told Digital Spy. "Having slagged me and my career off for a year now, the numbers are in and they speak for themselves. "For some reason, he has repeatedly tried to humiliate me publicly and cement the perception that I have failed, but I've just celebrated the release of my third top 20 album in as many years, two of which I released independently. I'm proud of what I've achieved." He added: "Like I initially said 12 months ago, I wish him well, I think he is talented and I hope he is still around in 3 years time." |
