It's out tomorrow, not sure about times when it comes to different countries!

Who's excited? Another teaser to ARTPOP

Looking forward to this. So this one is being released tomorrow and Venus is being released next week?

The snippet sounds like it could be one of her best songs.

I wonder if she'll be performing this song or Venus on The X Factor?

I think the promo singles are :
Do what you want
Venus (it's an official single and promo somehow at the same time i think)
Dope (i think... not confirmed but widely rumoured)

ok, this is actually very good. her voice is very good there, the song is simplistic, but its flows so well, which has been an issue for me with the recent tracks i have heard from her. credit where, credit is due, i actually think this is a good track.

eurghh...talk about dullsville:yawn: could easily pass as an Xtina album filler track.
At least Aura is amazing enough to keep my interest in ArtPop...I just hope Venus blows me away

I'm in love with this song. Best song she has done since Bad Romance. The production is quite expansive and hot. Seriously don't understand how this is just a promo single. Hopefully, it becomes a single later in the ARTPOP campaign.

I love it. So much better than all the crap where she is trying to take herself too seriously.

This is Gaga at her best, Its very Fame too.

I respect your opinion, but i don't get a Fame vibe from it. Not yet though, maybe a few more listens

I don't like the single artwork though.

Its straight from the I Like It Rough, Starstruck, Nothing Else I Can Say, Paper Gangster vain. This wouldn't have been out of place on The Fame at all.

imo

Yes I agree Diane! I was left a little cold by the snippet and wasn't blown away but I quite like this song! ARTPOP is definitely shaping up to be very eclectic in terms of styles!

Definitely!

And the song has just gone #1 on US iTunes!

Too bad it's a rip off. All she and R.Kelly have done is add their vocals to an existing tune. So much for being a creative artist.

If she has used a small sample, it wouldn't have been so bad but this is ridiculous.

Surely they've just sampled the bassline? It's hardly copying the song is it? People use samples all the time, but the actual song is not similar at all.

DJWS is known for making songs that sound very similar to others. So it isn't a surprise a similar beat can be found elsewhere. Tbh he isn't that great a producer. I don't know why Gaga still uses him. I hope for her next record she loses him.

I think there are a lot of people that feel that way... I for one was disappointed when I saw how many credits he had on ARTPOP. I'm most excited for Madeon's work I think! I'd like to see her go in a different direction production-wise with the next album, but they're really good friends so not sure if this will happen.

Her pattern so far is to make one producer musical director per album (RedOne - TF/M, Fernando - BTW, DJWS - ARTPOP), then phase them out...so this will be DJWS's last hurrah.

I think he's a good beat maker, but not someone who pushes Gaga to another level like others have. I respect him for the great tunes he's helped with, but it is kind of amusing that such a massive popstar and brand is supported by an underground DJ with no pop experience.

Anyways. This song is really great. Makes me want her to pursue a more R&B sound.

This song is better than Applause, but still sounds like a filler.

This is true - I wonder then who she will work with for the next one. It tends to be somebody she worked with on the previous album - so perhaps Zedd or Madeon? Or maybe she's working up to just doing everything herself seeing as she's credited on every song?

Personally I'd like her to work again with Fernando Garibay, I like his stuff and I think with more time and experience they could be great together.

I wouldn't be surprised if she was building up to a R&B/pop record with Dallas Austin and Rick Rubin. Perhaps with Fernando, DJWS, Madeon etc. featuring.

Get back to No Way, Second Time Around etc. sounding stuff (but better).

So amusing to see the LM's harping on about her being #1 on itunes when it really isn't such a great accomplishment when even Toni Braxtons sister can do it.

What awful, bland and generic music. I can't believe that she is always ranting about how unique her music is and how she likes to explore her mind/ideas/themes and how she makes incredible 'sonic art'.
She is full of BS imo! She produces bland electro-pop track after electro-pop track. If that's what she wants to do then fine but at least admit your making standard music rather then proclaiming that you're the second coming.
The only thing Gaga can claim to be is the most self-concerned, conceited, obnoxious, pretentious artist in the world at the minute.
