I'm really loving Sally Fletcher's return in Home and Away. It's so tragic that Sally's daughter is dying from mitochondrial disease. Kate Ritchie had been phenomenal in this storyline and she had blown me away with her powerful acting. It's so nice having Sally back where she belongs

What are your thoughts?

I'm finding it depressing. I'm actually looking forward to them both leaving.

Loving Sally's return so far! Kate is one of the best ever actresses in Home and Away.

Not looking forward for Sally and Pippa to leave . Sally IS Home and Away. When Sally left the show, it left a massive hole in the show and the Bay was not the same without Sally.

Did they really need to give Sally, of all people, more drama? She already lost her husband.

Then there is the drama just for the sake of it (the panic over VJ possibly having it, even though they share no DNA), which meant that they sent out wrong information about the fact that a surrogate could have passed it on, which also sent out confusion (to those that didn't already know) about who is the biological mother of Pippa. It's Sally!!

Also where is Sally's family? Surely the must know, they would have not only donated money to help Sally, but they would have come to give her support, where is older Pippa, who would have dropped everything and rushed over?

We are also not really seeing anything new in the storyline, just Sally struggling to raise money, waiting for the sale of the house.. nothing new and interesting apart from the Pippa and Jett friendship, which has been good..(thankfully they don't have her 'big brother' VJ involved anymore (not because VJ isn't a good character, he is) as that would continue to make people think that they are siblings and that Leah is Pippa's mother).

Then there is the fact that
Spoiler

I am looking forward to Sally leaving because of how bad this has been.

I too have enjoyed seeing Sally back, glad she mentioned Flynn too as to not totally who out the characters history. Real shame she won't own the caravan park though, that whole set IS Sally.

Sally is as annoying as usual. She's just shouted at the blonde girl at school because she wasn't looking after her daughter. Earth to Sally, it's not her job to look after your daughter. She's at school to learn.
I don't know why H&A didn't kill her off

Not seen all her episodes but what I have seen it's felt like Sally has never been away and Home and Away has felt more like its old self because of her presence.

What I want to know is has she mentioned Pippa Snr at all? I find it strange that given the situation with Pippa Jnr she isn't there giving it all "sweetheart" and cupcakes from the diner? Why hasn't she asked family for help with funding Pippa's treatment rather than having to come begging in the bay? I realise that wouldn't make such a good story, but it's so strange, it feels almost as if Pippa snr has been wiped from history. I'm sure Carly, Steven and Frank would help Sally in a heartbeat, not to mention other foster siblings she remained close to, such as Sophie.

What blonde girl? Sally hasn't shouted at anyone actually... Home and Away will never kill Sally off because she is the most popular and iconic character in Home and Away ever.
