Ed - I feel a little bit sad for Dominic Power.

He's obviously on a high after so many compliments for his story, but he said he's sad it's now all over.
The best part of his job was not the massive story he was given but just being in the show and with the people on the show. He had the best time and learned so much.
He's in a strange posistion of leaving when he didn't want to leave but also wasn't axed. He was given a massive story that had only one logical ending sooner or later.
He seems like a nice, modest person as well.

He seems like a brilliant actor, it's a shame they weren't able to keep Cameron on Emmerdale. He went out on a high though.

Its the shelf life of a villain, if they have been a good one its a particular wrench.

Anyone remember him when he was in Grange Hill?

I hope Dominic Power goes onto brilliant things. But I hoped that for Matt Healy and he seems to have dropped off the planet...

That is the worry! Both brilliant actors that player their character amazingly! Hopefully Dominic Power goes on to do some good stuff, he deserves it after the effort he put in playing Cameron!

I remember when Matt Healy left Emmerdale, I really thought he was going to walk straight into a TV cop show, or something similar. He mostly seems to do regional theatre stuff these days.

It's Tom Lister that has surprised me by doing nothing.

Who did he play in Grange Hill? It must have been about my Grange Hill viewing era, cause he's about the same age as me! I'll have to look on Youtube for some clips!

It is a shame for him, but he's really in no different a position to lots of people on temporary and fixed term contracts, or who are made redundant. It's not easy to find acting work it's true, but he doesn't always have to act!

I loved Dominic in The Bill - he had some great scenes.

Well I haven't watched Emmerdale since the 40th anniversary episodes last year, but I have just watched this weeks episodes and my God they were absolutely brilliant! And now that Steph is back, I think I might stay tuned in!

I'm looking forward to seeing Dominic Power in other roles, he'd make a good cop or MI5 agent. He was amazing as Cameron. I'll miss him in Emmerdale.

Bib: She's only going to be in one episode - Alan's funeral.

That seems to be true for most of those who leave Emmerdale. Even Jeff Hordley couldn't get another TV show, Emma Atkins didn't do much and Nicola Weaver didn't get a single job.
Dominic has now been a success as two different characters and i think that's crucial. so i'm sure he'll have no trouble finding more tv work or maybe even try for some movie roles? I could see Dominic fitting into the kind of B movie flicks Jason Statham makes.

He's recently filmed scenes for a film starring Kal Penn and Vincent Regan. Looks quite good.

Its such a shame he had to leave! I really feel he has been one of the main characters to totally elevate Emmerdale to supersoap status over the past two years.

Unfortuntalely serial killers have a shelf-life on soap (the have to get some sort of comeuppance)!!!

He had the most spectacular storylines and explosive exit and he will go down in the history books as one of ED's most complex and interesting characters - Quite a legacy.

I hope Dominic Power continues to get challenging and diverse roles, he really deserves to do well!

I shall miss him!

It's not Dominic Brunt, it's Dominic Power (Cameron) don't worry, Paddy is safe

The original Grange Hill was made at Borehamwood but it later moved up north which seemed strange because the London accents were changed to northern accents!
