His story has ruled the last year. He was rubbish before this story.

I agree (I know, you'll fall over in shock). I thought he was good when he basically turned psycho, but before that the actor wasn't all that convincing and the character was smarmy and unlikeable. The pairing with Debbie wasn't at all convincing either. He can do the psychotic stuff well, but he wasn't great at the everyday, 'normal' acting.
