I agree about the Chexter issue. I do not think anyone cares one way or another if they are friends/dating. I think Jackie confirming then that they are just friends seals it really.
I have no idea why the need then to keep fans guessing unless of course it could be future financially beneficial for them, but I have no idea really.
I think the thing we now know is we have it confirmed they are just friends and that is fine, not a problem anyway.
Just a thought though, I do think that by them both continuing not to reveal they are just friends or whatever, is fueling the trolls.

There was a lot of pretty horrific things the troll said last night, very bad towards Dexter and it just is not fair. I still maintain that it is Charlie the troll may be obsessed about, that and also him being a Callum fan does not help either.

As much as I support Dexter, the troll on twitter totally overstepped the mark when he started dissing Liverpool, that is one step too far and I am so glad they are no longer on DS as I am very proud of the city and would not of let that go.
Also, what kind of person posts abuse and harasses others on twitter, but then posts a photo of his wife. Very very strange person. I do really feel for Dexter having to deal with this idiot.

The Callum mask hilarious and just a bit of fun (if not the truth,lol). Dexter should not feel pressured into removing tweets because of Callum or his fans. I mean Callum's 5 minutes (let's face it he was never going to get the full 15 minutes was he) of fame has now ended. I know what you mean the constant people commenting in their tweets asking them what's going on is ridiculous. What differance does it make to anyone what they are doing.

I think it was a very difficult place for that person to put Jackie in, like she said in the other tweet it's not really her place to say, she probably didn't know the chaos it was going to cause. There could be a number of reasons for her initial tweet, it could be the truth and they are just friends or it could be that there is something going on and they don't want it out and she thought that it's not up to her to say it first and thought that was the easiest answer? Like you said the both of them not revealing anything is kind of giving the trolls something to have a go about. Saying something probably wouldn't help much, because trolls would still have something to say, but it may stop some of it.

I wish that troll would use commas and full stops, I struggle to decipher his tweets. So he's saying that's his wife on the profile pic, is that his daughter then?? Hmmm, I don't know what to believe from him.

Yeah, I find the Chexter speculation to be really tedious now. If Charlie and Dexter don't want to talk about the status of their relationship then that's their business and I think it's embarrassing that this troll still insists on continually harassing Dexter about the situation even though the show has been over for months now. Whether Dexter and Charlie are together or just friends (or still figuring things out), it doesn't really make a difference. As a Dexter fan, all I care about is that Dexter is happy and so as long as his friendship/relationship/whatever with Charlie makes him happy then, as far as I'm concerned, it's all good.

As much as Jackie was a pain in the house, she strikes me as being honest, so I do think they are just friends which is fine either way.
I have no idea why they are not revealing if just friends or not. As I have said, there must be a reason, but as this is Dexter it could just be total PR spin, it could be a whim, could be to keep us on our toes, lol, (never gonna be a dull moment...way we like it as never boring ).
There is a reason, whether financial, career wise, just to keep people interested I have no idea and it is up to them really, but I did feel for Jackie as she does seem very honest so would not like saying something which was not true. I am actually starting to like her. Needs to sit down quickly.

I think it would stop the trolls as they will have nothing to speculate on, but the more worrying thing for me is the level this particular one is going too. I think that is the crux of the matter Ucra. I think if Dexter had not been involved in PR, then I doubt anyone would question anything, but because of his business and also false persona in the house, people are bound to make judgements.
You also do not know if Dexter wants it this way either for themselves or indeed as you say to protect a brand. No one does know.
