I'm assuming there won't be one this year? This week is the movies theme, and next week's show falls on November 2nd and so Halloween would have passed. That's really disappointing... I think the Halloween Special is one of the highlights of the series for me. They should've had the Halloween show this weekend, that would have worked

Real shame if there isn't. Halloween is great fun.

I think it's pretty much ruled out. November 2nd is too late to celebrate Halloween, so looks like we won't be having one.

.
Anyone wanting a fright has only to look at Sharon's medically altered face.

Enough to give one the shivers.

Strictly's Halloween special isn't until November 2nd this year, so don't rule out that X Factor will do the same.

Is that confirmed?

It seems really odd to celebrate Halloween once it's passed?

It's like having a Christmas Day special on December 27th...

it makes as much sense as "celebrating" Halloween on the 26th I would have thought

Hopefully not, I always find it really pointless. But I'd say is more likely that if they do have it it will be on the 2nd November considering the proximity?

I think it's more appropriate to celebrate an 'event' in the build up or the day itself, not once it's been and gone.

its not like its an official holiday or anything is it ?

they just use it as a theme for the show closest to the date that's all

do we really have a "build up" to Halloween now ?

Well I don't even celebrate Halloween, I just like it as a theme

I do understand what you're saying but I just think it's odd to mark an 'occasion' when the month has already passed.

I can see Abi doing (or at least, made to do) the token non-MJ version of Thriller.

I'm not usually a fan of the Halloween specials but i'd love to see Tamera doing Disturbia, in the style of Rihanna's 2008 VMA performance with a massive production like this:
