A friend istrying to organise her wedding while working full time so a few of us have offered to source some things to make her life easier.

She's asked if I'd be kind enough to find a single tier pale blue, glass or cermaic, cake stand dia. 35cm. Well, I have tried and tried, google, department stores,etsy, notonthehighstreet, and I'm out of ideas.

Any DS users got an suggestions or do I just tell her to find the plate herself and I'll sort out the dancing unicorns ?

Gosh, that's a gigantic cake! Does it need to be pale blue? Can it just be glass? There are plenty of 35cm glass lazy susans around, would she be happy with one of those?

I don't think I've ever come across a cake stand that large... Good luck!

You can see why I'd rather look for dancing unicorns I'll give it until the end of the week to see if I can find something suitable. The offer to help was my idea so I'll try my best before admitting (inevitable) defeat. Thanks so much for replying, really appreciate it.

Thank you so much boredoflurking, I think my mistake was searching for the right colour, which it seems she's going to have to compromise on, rather than size. Didn't we have another thread on GD about size mattering
