I doubt the entire ep will be focused on him
I think it will be like Peter Beales exit a few years ago, just before Christmas itself

It's not like we have any exciting build up either or even any existing storylines to reach a climax, it's an extremely poor show with very little to look forward to.

This.

People getting ahead of themselves for the sake of sticking the boot into the show once more.

I have to agree with this. Even if it is, at least he's leaving.

Why do the bloody Brannings have to dominate the Christmas day episode its obvious Joey will be the focus on that episode he will leave in some dramatic way

Why would they devote the Christmas episode to such a crap character leaving?

Even if the exits this year were any near good this would be a stupid decision.

All that's been said is that he would be leaving over the Christmas period. Not on the day itself.

You are taking 2 and 2 and making 50.

Completely agree.

EE at Christmas will be about more than just Plank leaving.

Will Joey dress up as a turkey to woo Lauren back? Will he go all gluck, gluck when he finds out about Lauren's latest parmour? Or will he be able to stuff Lauren up this Christmas? Ooo my mind's already reeling...

Haha

"I hate Joey, I wish he'd go!" (that applies to me too)

"What, Joey's leaving? That's Christmas ruined!"

I know I'm often critical of EE but...at least I know when to be happy about things

I'm enjoying EE at the Moment, while it's certainly not at it's highest standard it's moving in the right direction and the crappy deadwood (sorry scrabbler ) are getting axed

it'll be a very merry christmas aside from KALFIE reuniting

I bet it's not in any of the main Xmas episodes. DTC will probably just rush it out to concentrate on the better characters and the Carter's at the Vic. Alice will go to prison one episode then Joey will just quietly leave the next!
