I think it's characters like Tamwr who are the Problem with EE
Terminally dull, moping, depressing, monotonous character. The dementor of Albert Square Sucking the life and soul out of the whole show Axe please |

That's the point of Tamwar's character though. We're meant to laugh at him. No, he shouldn't be axed.

Boring but Tamwar > Alice. He's been good in the past and if the writers can be bothered to pull their fingers out he could very well be good again some day.

Ever since the fire Yusef started where Tamwar got burnt he has been exceptionally miserable. It's obvious he is suffering from depression triggered by the fire but its still yet to be properly addressed onscreen.

Worst? There's been far worse.
Eastenders as a whole is depressing, no one character is to blame for that. I only have to look at Ronnie though and I'm in a deep depression. |

He is really boring, because if he was really smart he could have made him into a pretentious comedy type character rather than a boring guy who does nothing. Also he should change that stupid face he keeps making, he is trying to look funny but it just looks like he has released in his pants.

They should explore the depression plot. It could have been triggered from the B & B fire and then strengthened by Afia, Syed and Zainab leaving him.

Not quite he could be alright, Fat boy takes that spot and the fact he is centre stage behind the lovely Queen Vic kills me.

His character changes completely if you imagine that he has undiagnosed autism/asperger's syndrome

That honour goes to Joey "Chewbacca" Branning. At least I can understand what Tamwar is saying.

I don't agree at all. He needs to be given more to do, but being happy doesn't suit him. He's the Eeyore of the Square, and is really interesting in the same way Bradley was - he just needs to be given a storyline which actually goes somewhere, instead of being tacked onto the end of other people's.

i cant believe people are still calling this show depressing after the year we've had? do people not realize this is why we get no decent storylines?

He's not a good character but there are far worse in the cast right now. Fatboy and Poppy are probably the worst characters from any tv show I've ever watched.
