But that isn't the point.
When you buy an Android tablet of similar price to an iOS tablet you not only get equal performance and similar customer satisfaction; you actually get greater capability.
Namely:
- Expansion of on board memory via MicroSD
- Industry standard Blutooth capability
- HDMI connectivity
- Industry standard USB interface

Apple are a bit more forward/future thinking than the rest, like the fact they went USB only in the late 90s and dumped Serial and Parallel Ports, or the fact they dumped CD/DVD drives years ago.
You don't need a HDMI port. You have an Apple TV box, and you can mirror or beam the content to the TV, no cable being dragged between you and the TV. Works with a Mac, iPod Touch, iPhone, iPad , no wires no fuss, just press a button

I believe Chromecast will do something close to it.
USB Port? What for? I cannot say i have had the need to plug anything USB into my iPad for the last 3 years. If its for data transfer like photos and documents use the iCloud. or is it for memory sticks full of pirated films?
It has bluetooth, and somebody with common sense would look at what they intend to use the device for before buying and buy the appropriate size iPad, either 16,32,64 or 128GB. I have as yet to fill my 16GB iPad 2, if i was going to watch a lot of movies on the go i would have bought the bigger capacity one. But even if they did get the wrong one the iPad will hold its value very well so they could sell it, get a lot of the original price back and they upgrade to a bigger capacity model.
In real life and not off strangers off an internet forum, the customer experience of an iPad is much greater than an Android based tablet. When somebody at work borrowed a work iPad 2 over christmas they could not believe the difference between it and their galaxy tab, the iPad 2 was so much quicker and more responsive disbite being 3 years old and running iOS 7 which did slow the iPad 2 down a little compared to iOS 6 (though iOS 7.1 has made it feel snappier again).
