The Nokia Lumia 2520 is Nokia's entry in the tablet market. What chance does this Windows RT slate have given it's running an OS that every review seems to hate? The company is in the process of being purchased by Microsoft and they've just launched their own second generation RT tablet despite taking a $900m hit on the first generation and other partners abandoning the platform.

This is slipping under the radar thanks to the timing of it on the same day as the iPad Air and iPad Mini Retina announcements. So what's going to make the Lumia 2520 stand out? Well as well as the more common black and white there are options of red and cyan for those that like gaudy coloured plastic gadgets. In my opinion the once great Nokia have totally lost the plot.

They couldn't have timed it worse if they tried. It's like they wanted it to be unnoticed. It's a shame as specs-wise it looks pretty good.

Im a big Windows 8 fan. I have it on a touchscreen laptop, touchscreen desktop and various non-touchscreen devices too.

However I could never see myself buying an RT tablet. Whilst the full OS is great the RT version just seems stunted. I suspect MS needs to put more time and effort into making the Pro tablets smaller and longer lasting.

What this does have is the ability to work with the upcoming new xbox. The xbox being a PC is also able to run RT/Metro apps.
