Looking for a decent tablet
I'm looking for a tablet primarily to use at my mum's for internet access when I'm staying there. Ideally I'd like to spend as little as possible while still getting something of reasonable quality if at all possible, would stretch up to maybe £150 tops.
Would have to have the following capabilities: Be able to use Skygo for the football, if not then a streaming site Able to use 3G as my mum has no broadband Just good basic quick surfing, music listening and e-reader I think the first two requirements might be a stumbling block to a bargain but aside from that just looking for something giving reliable internet access. Thanks! |

Hi, this Prestigio at Maplin seems like a good deal, you'd just need to get a data SIM to pop in it for 3G functionality. It should be smooth in use as it's got a quad core processor. At £160, it's slightly above what you want to spend, but I'm pretty sure there's £7 off vouchers at Maplin floating around on the net

Three do an Evo 7" tablet on contract for around £10 a month. It comes with a Mi Fi wireless dongle with a 1 gb allowance which you can use on up to 5 devices at a time.

Archos 80 Titanium is a good bet.
It's under £130 these days & it looks very much like an overpriced product from a company whose name begins with 'A'. |

Sky go is the stumbling block. Here is the list of devices it runs on......
http://www.pocket-lint.com/news/1240...g-g2-xperia-z1 It's just the Nexus and Galaxy 7” tablets at the moment on android. I think you may find the Nexus 7 2012 tablet for around that price. It's still a great tablet. I use one with no problems |
