Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the very first audition show of The Solo Factor! Due to popular demand, I have moved the first show from tomorrow night to tonight. Also, look at this brand new thread we have here! This thread will be used for both audition shows, so when the second batch hits DS you'll know where to go judges.

Speaking about the judges, let's give them their first proper introduction:

I've Got Class

ElectricBoy171

EddyEagal

pingu58011

Now, there's a batch of group members gone solo waiting in the wings. Judges, are you all here and ready to judge them on their singing and performing skills?

An action, followed by a sentence and a winky face. You're like a mini-me!

All right, everyone seems to be here in one form or another. Now, before I post the first auditionee, let me make a few things very clear:

This audition format uses The Voice's 'I Want You' system. What this means is that whenever you say yes to a contestant (or 'turn' as it's known in The Voice terms ), they might end up on your team. Therefore, it is imperative that you only say yes to acts you know you can do justice in terms of mentoring. Don't go for acts you know you're not good with - there are only 40 auditionees in total after all and everyone deserves a chance to build a team that fits them.

Apart from that, your teams have a maximum capacity of 10 acts. Once you hit 10, you will no longer be able to take in additional ones. If two or more judges want the same contestant, an RNG will be used to determine who the act will 'pick'. Is everything clear?

Best of luck to you all, I have great confidence that you'll find some of the best soloists-to-be to have in your teams.

Good, it's time to summon the first contestant to the stage then. He started out as a soloist back on The X Factor 2012, but he was sadly put in a group. Now it's time to reverse that and make him a soloist again:

George Shelley (UK) of Union J

George George, I loved that performance. You are my type of artist... can play the guitar, a unique voice and something very different. To keep this simple: I want you on my team. YES.

George Shelley:- I'm not really sure that I'm the best mentor for you, so I'm going to have to turn you down on this occasion. I find your voice to be quite nasally and I think that I would only really be able to take you down the 'white guy with guitar' route.

George, let's be honest you haven't got a particular strong voice or much of a stage personality. The vocals were pretty weak and I don't feel that I'll be able to mentor you throughout the competition. Perhaps you should try a modelling career as some of the over-hormonal teenagers seem into you but it's gonna have to be a NO.

So it seems Eddy is the only judge that wants George on their team, which makes this very easy. Congratulations on your first team member!

Next up, we have someone hailing all the way from Australia. On The X Factor OZ 2012, she was put into a group called Black Ivory, which was axed at judges houses. Hoping to to better solo, it's:

Briden-Starr Aspinall (OZ) of Black Ivory

Briden - *No Turn* Sorry but I just don`t think you are anything special.

Briden-Starr Aspinall: I thought this was actually a very weak audition. Your vocals were all over the place and it was pretty pitchy throughout, there's no potential in you, I'm afraid. It's a no from me.

Briden, unfortunately you just aren't going to be a solo star. I mean yes, a part of a group as the member who barely sings but your voice is very weak, whiny and a bit irritating. I think we know where this is heading and it's going to have to be a NO.
