Yes you can and yes it does!!! My Google music is synced on all my Android devices and on my PC.
And as i said yes google does allow the downloads to the phone. I did it so i could listen to all my music on the plane last month!!

“Other options hide the file in a obscure location- very user friendly!”
You keep going on about this, and you keep ignoring posts from people who tell you thats nonsense. All my music is in my music folder. Ive no idea what you're doing to stuff that up!!

“Couldnt even play Ultra Violet on my Nexus becuase the feature or app isnt available !! - no problem on iTunes! on my ipad - the whole process was simple compared to the "work it out yourself" on Android.”
Work it out? You mean download an app the same way you do on the iphone.
You're not making this any better for yourself!!!

“Missing features - you dont need file management if itunes and cloud set up right. Also there is a lack of integrated messaging on Android. Hangouts has no way to send videos to each other for example. .. why? Messaging/Facetime is better in that regard. its easy.”
You dont need file managment on Android either. Ive neevr ever used one and my stuff is in the same place as it would be on an iphone or any other phone.
Also, what missing features?

“Not as polished - things like the Data Toggle button for example still hasnt been fixed! Yes its smooth on Nexus 4 but a lot of other devices have judder fests. Had it on HTC One and Samsung Galaxy.”
Ws the lag ever fixed on the iphone when your scrolled left to the spotlight search?
Also, how do i turn wifi on or blutooth on quickly with the iphone? DO i still have to scroll to find the settings icon, then click it, click wifi then have to turn it on? Or can i pull down the bar at the top and touch it on?
Every phone has a quirk. The iphone has loads as well.

“I have had more stalls and crashed applications on my Nexus compared to my iPad.”
Funny since i've had crashes on Android and iOS. Apps on iOS were in fact more prone to crashing than their Android counterparts if i remember correctly a study showed.

“Android isnt better- its different. The Apple system is great for most people becuase as they say it "just works".”
No.
They don't say that at all. That was an apple soundbite that apple fans continue to use years and years after even apple dropped it. Every device just works. Every single one of them.
This whole ios is easy and intuitive is utter nonsense. Its no easier or harder to use than any other OS.

“ I'm sorry but that coupled with excellent design and build quality across the products is why they are so popular. But you pay a premium and get what your given.”
Excellent design in your eyes. I personally can't stand the look of the 5/5C/5S. Shape looks weird. That huge bezel apple keeps doing is vile. Now the first iphone and the 3G were things of beauty. Looking back, the iphone 4S was ok as well. The edges of the phone drove me nuts after long use. Very uncomfortable to hold.

“Cheapness and choice of what to do and buy is why Android is so popular.”
Rubbish. Unless you can prove it of course. Everything else you have said is nonsense, so why not make yourself correct on this one?
