I presume the Valentine's Day love triangle rumour isn't actually happening then, or happening l8r, as the spoilers claim that Lisa and Becca go out on a girly night, and tha'ts on the 15th Feb

i was wondering about that too as i read about
Spoiler
the girls night out too on the radio times tv listings
i think that it may be a bit later that the affair is revealed
Spoiler
as there is also another mention that becca is oblivious of the crush that justin has on her and that is on the friday 18th listing and for the valentines episode it just says that jake is angry that lisa sent him a valentines card.

i dont think that it is much longer though
Spoiler
as the actress who plays becca has left the show apparently

Unless Becca finds out before, but Lisa doesn't know and it's part of a revenge plan that Becca has.

I hope this awful storyline doesn't run and run, Lisa is such a boring character now I cringe whenever she is on screen. How pathetic does she sound....

"It's not fair you always put Becca first."
(Duhhh!! Becca is his girlfriend, you are just his easy lay bit on the side!!!)

"Oh but I need you because I miss Dan"
(How low can you get? Using your brother's death to try and get your own way)

"But I love him"
(Since when?? It wasn't that long ago she was declaring undying love to James the tutor. (another man she knew was in a relationship) She and Jake had hardly spoken to each other up to Dan's death, then all of a sudden she is in love with him? She sounds at her most patheticness when she says this. It's like I little kid telling her dollies "I wuv woo")

I hate the way she has a tantrum whenever Jake tries to cool things off and he is such a worm he gives in!! I think (and hope) Zara is right all along and Jake is just using Lisa.

I really hope they axe Lisa soon, they've totally ruined what was once a decent character.

<rant over> ...... for now!

Can't stand Lisa - what a bad actress.

I used to like Lisa as a charcater befor, but since the Jake affair I'm turning from her.
I really hope that it's over soon and she can get a differnet story. But I don't think this should all be forgotten about. The way she went after that James guy firsts makes it seem like she has some underlying problem that needs to be sorted out.
That could be her next storyline, all her problems come out had she could go back to her "cutting" problems or something differnet (as I don't think they should repeate it) But so long as she doesn't keep on turing into the bitch she seems to be then that will be OK. I really think the character has potential and should stay, but only if things change.

I really hope they don't have her cutting again. To be honest if she did I don't think it would generate the same effect as before, viewers sympathising etc because she's changed so much, plus these days people don't seem to like her as much. This probably sounds nasty but I think if they did that I would have a "who cares" attitude if you get what I mean.

I think Hollyoaks have enough bitchy characters without creating more.

I don't have any problem with Lisa (if fact I vaguely fancy her) but I find Becca so tedious. She makes me cringe. It's as if she walks around as the beacon of eternal hope and advice, or something. She also seems to have been designated as the character whose dialogue is used to put events in context for newer viewers.

Fictional but typical (!) example of a Becca conversation:

person X: Oh, I'm feeling fed up.

Becca: Why?

person X: I bought this Mars Bar but I'm not enjoying it.

Becca: Don't worry; when you bought that you were hoping it would recreate sweet memories of your chocolate-loving boyfriend who was so tragically killed in that car crash 2 years ago.

person X: mmm possibly ...

Becca: Don't let your misguided guilt over failing to attend his final birthday party spoil your enjoyment of such a tasty confectionary treat. You owe it yourself and his memory.

person X: thanks Becca; I suppose I feel markedly more positive now.

Becca: of course you do.

What a bizarre conversation about a Mars Bar!

I know Becca might be classed as a "boring" character, but I like here. She is, in fact, one of the only caring characters that seems to care about others rather than moaning about her woes (eg. Mandy, Zara, Lisa, the Burton twins)

As for Lisa.....well, she is turning into a bunny boiler. Hardly surprising though what she has been through, she had a brother in law who turned out to be a serial killer, her sister put her own brother in jail, and then her brother died. Along with all the self harm, her mum and dad's divorce, its's quite a lot to go through and I suppose this is her way of coping. I think it's quite clever how they have developed her character

Yes, all true what you say. You get though what I was sarcastically getting at in my 'script' ?

I too find Becca very tedious, but at least she actually appears to attend her job regularly, making her about the only person in that place that does.

I think they should have given her a darkside no one can be that nice all the time.

poor becca, she has been through the mill a bit- with Jamie dying and her pregnancy (did she have a termination? i seem to remember she wa sdistraught as it was her only memory of Jamie)

but having said all this - wasnt see also Alex's "bit on the side" when he and Anna were together? So she'll uinderstand how Lisa feels I'm sure !!

Can't stand Lisa...used to love her character but now I just want to smack her for being so naive!

Does anyone know how this storyline will pan out? I seem to be missing the bit when Jake tries to cool it?!?

I thought when Becca was with Alex he and Anna weren't really together any more and only still together for their kid..... and didn't Anna go out with Max then anyway?

Agree with every word of that. Lisa is a complete turn off.

A man's worse nightmare.
