Comic Relief Single
2005.
05-02-2005
What does everyone think of McFly's effort with this years song?
Personally, I don't like McFly much, but I've heard this song lots today and it's kind of grown on me.
The videos quite funny too.

ive seen it, i dont really like mcfly all that much, i dont mind the song, but i think comic relief songs should be more lively and entertaining, than a sort of mellow song, like it is.

I wasn't sure about it at first because it's slower and more cheesier than their usual stuff but it's fine for a comic relief single and the video is cool. The songs quite nice it's not bad.

There's something about it which bothers me. It sounds a lot like Obviously.
The video's good (needs more of the gorgeous Fearne however). It will raise a lot of money for Comic Relief but it doesn't look like Number 1 material.

Is that a bad thing? I thought it was a brilliant tune.

I only heard this new song for the first time today, and I must say I quite like it. I didn't realise the song was for Comic Relief, and was therefore a little surprised to see some pretty big names in the video. But it's a nice song, I'm sure it's pretty catchy, and it won't be long before it suffers from major radio-overdose.

A classic it ain't, but Number 1 material...more than likely.

December - Band Aid 20
January - Tsunami Aid
March (presumably) - Comic Relief

Quick, someone find a charity for February and get a single out. I hear Captain Sensible, Marilyn and Errol Brown are interested.

Just so bad it annoys me. Sure there are more deserving people that that cheesy group to release this years song.

Here ya go:

Feb 14th - Atomic Kitten - Cradle
Profits to World Vision's 24hr Famine Charity Appeal

Being a fan of the aforementioned trio I shall be purchasing

It may not be to your taste though , plus the tracklisting is quite poor

i havent got a problem with the groups that do these charity singles but they songs are alwayz dire. why cant they choose something tht people actually want to listen to.

This song is sooo boring! I think they should have done a more uptempo song for comic relief. I also think it sounds like their other stuff... More originality needed! And something more uplifting!

It's the first original song since 'Who Do you think You Are', back in 1997, for Comic Relief. Shameful when you look at Children in Need which has had an original song from Will Young and no less than 2 from S Club 7.

I think that the comic relief song is good, and the video is rather amusing aswell. The best part being where Dermot O'Leary is raised on his stool, very funny! The song is catchy as well, the first time I heard it, I wasn't too sure, but having listened to it more, I really like it, and I'm sure it will get quite high in the charts at least top 5!! Good for them, its for a good cause!
