I tried to acces my recordings on FIlmOn last night and theres nothing there!! - in fact now the site wont let me select any programme to record.

It has all worked well recently and only yesterday morning I was able to download a programme I had recorded the night before. The page tells me I have plenty of recording space left but does not say anything more and doe snot sow anyything I have recorded or seleted for recording. Wierdly on the Ipad app the recordings show as being there but its not possible to view or download them on the ipad! Is this a glitch or has somthing changed?

Looking fine from my end. Perhaps they had a glitch with their recording server.

Which platform are you using? (PC, iPhone etc)

Are you under a sub with FilmOn?

Another suggestion is to try Zattoo. You need a smart DNS service with this, but that is really cheap and Zattoo works amazing with an iPad. Under a sub (which is cheaper than filmon even with the smart DNS) the video quality on iOS is near HD quality for BBC One, Two and ITV 1 with the others around SD quality.

Granted, not free like filmon, but under the sub, all UK channels have every programme recorded for the last 7 days, so you can easily catchup and you can personally record 250 shows.

There are reviews for both, explaining each pros and cons over at www.eyeondemand.com
Just use the menu to look for live UK TV shows.

No not under a sub - but it was working fine on Friday morning then by the evening nothing - cant even select an item to record!!! yet still on my ipad app it is saying my recordings are still there and I have 2.5 hours left of recording time!!! and on the ipad app it lets me select items to record - all under the same user name!!!!
Can't work it out at all.

Thanks for the suggestions but we can get freesat fine so don't use FilmOn for general telly - only to record a few items from Dave which is not avaiable here or to record the odd thing when we are away from home and don't have sat available.

It looks like there someting going on on their site - the ipad app keeps changing what its doing - it seems they are updating so you can view recordings on the Ipad and perhaps thats whats affecting the recordings section! maybe it will all be clearer in the week!

Have now got to the bottom of it - IE8 is no longer supported by FilmOn - there was a recent update to IE8 and this renders it unsuitable for the FIlmOn Site - using Chrome works fine. IE8 updates have also affected the way some embedded audio files are played back - seems IE8 is well and truely no longer fit for purpose!
