ipad 2 problem.
hi folks,
I hope someone on this board can give some advice with my new ipad 2 which I bought last week? when I try to register an apple id number password, it says I must use at least 8 characters, and include at least 1 number and 1 lowercase letter. the ipad keyboard only uses capital letters and numbers, but no lowercase letter? and tried pushing the shift key also but no luck. any help with this problem would be much appreciated! thanks |

The iPad keyboard is freakishly armature in the looks department. The little arrows on the left and right (shift key) will show if caps lock is on or off. I was scratching my head too when I first used my iPad.

In terms of capitals and lowercase, the iPad operates in almost exactly the same way as a normal computer keyboard.
It gives lower case by default, upper case when shifted, and all capitals when caps lock is on. |
