Please I need to know now as I've already prepared the ingredients I just need to pore the mixture in.

I normally use tins but I'm cooking lots of quiche and I have a few large fairly flat (not too deep) casserole dish.

Would it come out okay if I use casserole oven dish?

I will put butter all round the dish so it won't stick, then just cut slices from it.

Please don't keep me hanging, I need to know now, is it okay to use casserole dish?

When I layed the pastry (home made) on to the casserole dish it didn't stay on, at the sides of the casserole dish, so I use the normal Quiche tins.

I'm sure if I use the casserole dish it would have been okay, when I cook a fairly difficult meal it always comes okay once cooked, in my case anyway.

So the answer to my own question is I would prefer not to bake quiche in a casserole dish.

My quiche turned out delicious of course.

What do you mean it didn't stay on?

Can't see why it'd be a problem - I often 'make do' if I haven't got the right utensil or equipment.

The only thing I'd say is that quiche is best in a metal tin, and most casseroles are ceramic.
You're more likely to get soggy bottom.
