1) Really fed up with Dave and the obvious 'comedy' routines - why not actually try teaching him to dance?

2) The Samba is a Brazilian dance, so we have Artem dressed up as a Mexican, talking about giving a taste of Spain to the dance - WTAF?

1. I love Iveta! Mark gave a lovely performance. For a simple waltz, I was drawn into their dance.
2. In contrast, Karen and Dave were a joke. Sad. They could be better that that.
3. Due credit to Anya and Patrick for adjusting to the circumstances
4. I'm happy for Anton and Fiona.
5. Len's comment about faffing about and props...next week is Halloween week!!!

1. Susanna earned her marks tonight for first time, and managed it even in that frock.
2. Ben's smile made up for his dancing.
3. What did they see in Ashley? He never seems loose-limbed enought to me, but what do I know? Ola not helping him.
4. Am still liking Sophie and Patrick. It's when TPTB start imposing a personality on the celebs they deem to be lacking in personality that they start to get on my wick.
5. Iveta doing great with Mark.

1 Too many props. Too much messing about.
2. Get rid of jive shoes. They do nothing to help the performances.

1. Completely agree with Len this week - there was a *lot* of faffing about at the start/end of some dances. There's 'setting the scene' and then there's taking the mickey by waltzing with a bl**dy table.
2. For me, two weeks in a row the best dance of the night has been the first dance out. Sitting through the rest of the show ends up being a little disappointing when nothing quite reaches those highs (although the likes of Susanna and Ashley gave it a go).
3. LOVED Dave and Karen's salsa for all the wrong reasons - primarily Karen's Carmen Miranda inspired headwear and the banana eating afterwards!
4. Poor Rachel. She's competent in her dances, and tries her hardest, but I think suffers from others' high expectations. Some people probably thought she was going to be on Abbey-Sophie-Natalie levels, and because she's not (and also lacks the comedy factor like Dave), she ends up getting ripped apart by the judges.
5. Proper Man in the Hat appearance! Yay!

1) Without sounding like Terry, I thought that Bruce was at least bearable tonight.
2) There was no stand out dance, which was likely the result of beginning the show with the two highest scoring ones!
3) I think Anya and Robin may have been drunk when they came up with their routines.
4) The old lady from Mark and Iveta's VT has already been signed up as Anton's next partner.
5) Something tells me Bruno had something to do with Crackers With Maracas 1.

1. Dave - increasingly struggling to see the 'joke', basically just an awful dancer.

2. Deborah - not sure why she is surviving, overmarked again - was she really anywhere near as good as Patrick?

3. Rachel - looked like a reject from Shakespeare's Sister and the music was absolutely dreadful - is someone trying to hasten her exit?

4. Ben - what were the judges watching? Not surprisingly looked like a fish out of water and severly overmarked yet again - at best that 'dance' was worth 5. The plank of wood is not a contender to win anything so judges please stop pretending he can actually dance.

5. Sophie - along with Ashley's woeful Jive one of night's two major disappointments. She needs to let herself go as the 'disinterested' look wins nothing and Brendan needs a kick up the backside for sending her out with a routine that just wasn't good enough (again the music didn't help).

Tonight's show was a bit bland

1) It occurred to me today that, if doing Strictly is truly as nerve-wracking as they say it is, the Tessanine must be reeking of sweat, fags and nervous flatulence...

2) Which was swiftly confirmed by Rachel's paso face.

3) Bad backs, injured wrists, broken noses...the Injury Wars are hotting up. Expect Sophie on crutches, Fiona disfigured by chemical burns and Kristina to dance around a Ben Cohen who is consigned to an iron lung - who will still get 7s and 8s.

4) "I thought Halloween was next week? How come their pumpkin's mouldy already...oh wait that's Roger Moore?"

5) Every time Natalie's hair isn't allowed to go free I lose a little bit of sparkle from my life. Producers, please insist that she incorporates a Van Der Graaf generator in her next dance...for science!

1. When did they decide 45 seconds was enough for each routine? Talk about 'Don't blink or you'll miss it'.

5. OMG, OMG EW&F on the results show!

1- Abbey easily had the best dress of the night; She looked stunning. Iveta dress was also beautiful. Abbey & Aljaz foxtrot was my favorite routine from the night ; Just lovely .

2- Mark, Natalie were also my favorite of the night.

3-Iveta is a very good choreographer. Aljaz is a close second (from the newbies ). Of all the newbies, these 2 impress me the most with their choreography.

4-Rachel Paso was awful .

5- Maybe this is an unpopular opinion but Sophie is a bit overrated imo . I feel like the judges treat her with kid gloves .

Moment of the season so far that was. It'll take some beating!

1. The orchestra was superb tonight.
2. The marks were far too high yet again in most cases
3. Sophie does a more conservative, sophisticated style of latin dancing suitable for an earlier era.
4. It is not often I feel sympathy for anyone on SCD but I do in the case of Rachel.
She wants to be part of it so much but I think she sensed after her scores that the end was possibly nigh. She genuinely enjoys the Strictly buzz and I sense it would be a bitter pill to swallow being eliminated.
5. Much better from Fiona, well done.

1. Mark's Waltz might not have been technically the best dance of the night, but it almost moved me to tears! He and Iveta have been the surprise package for me.

2. Was gutted for Sophie as the Cha Cha got the better of her. Hope she can come back fighting. I still find her curiously fascinating to watch though, even when she's not at her best.

3. The running order was a bit silly. I think it's right that everybody take their turn to go early or late but to use up both of the night's best dances early on meant the show felt flat.

4. Kristina and Robin let their respective partners down with bad choreography. The start of the Friends routine was too 'literal' and cheesy. It wasn't Ben at all. And Robin & Deborah pushing/pulling that table looked really daft to me (and why where the audience clapping them? It's not hard!).

5. I think Rachel needs to be put out of her misery.

1. Iveta is fast becoming the best pro on the show. She's majestic. Her partnership with Mark is so impressive, it's astounding. I bow to him.

2. I could weep for poor Rachel, and bless her for holding it together in the face of humiliation and criticism - many others have burst into tears for less in Strictly's past. But I am so fed-up with pros teaching their celebs to be ANGRY in the Paso! In my day the expression and attitude was HAUGHTY and regal NOT unhinged! She may've got the correct body shaping, as Pasha was doing beside her, if she hadn't been locked into a "I must be angry" frame of mind. Bring back proper Paso music for gawd's sake!

3. Props to Craig for turning up at all tonight, much less getting through the show as usual, on his throne. I bow in admiration at his resilience. I fully expected him to be a no-show and tucked up in bed.

4. I think when Darcey goes first she seems hesitant and insecure, and is usually in opposition to the rest of the Judges in her assessment of what took place.

5. I've sussed what to do to avoid getting Bruce fatigue - eat snacks whilst he talks. It really works, but my weight gain is not so good.

1) Would Mark be such a bad winner? he can dance, he can perform, he's entertaining .

2) As a huge Pasha fan, I say this with regret, but it wouldn't be a bad thing for them to be voted off, dancing is not her talent.

3) Sophie, I just don't get it, she's ok, but, she's ok....is it because she's the only alternative to Natalie?

4) Time for Dave to go before he gets annoying.

5) Susannah and Kevin can do both Latin and Ballroom, I hope to see them in the final.

1. I loved Mark and Iveta. Nervous for them tonight, but I really enjoyed it. He gets so much feeling into everything and she's gorgeous and just doing such a brilliant job with him. With my head I know they're not the best, but with my heart they are the stand out for me.
2. I hate agreeing with Len but there was way too much faffing about and props. There was more than one where I was yelling 'Start dancing!' at the TV.
3. They said on ITT that Dave had had no time to practise and it showed. I think he's popular enough to survive tonight, but he won't be able to get away with that for long.
4. I think I liked Ashley and Sophie more than most people on here and I thought it was clever of Anton to give Fiona room to pause and stop and then start again in the dance to help her remember it all. (I don't like Fiona but I can see that she was better.)
5. I assume that they are trying to stop Natalie looking like teacher's pet, but to be honest it's daft to put Natalie on first. Gives the show nowhere to go.

1. Natalie and Artem were outstanding again.
2. Dave is getting past his sell by date and needs to go before we have a John Sergeant situation.
3. Deborah's dance was totally ruined by the faffing around with that table.
4. Love Sophie but her Cha Cha was terrible and overmarked.
5. Susannah's dress was horrible and did not flatter her.
