Hi,

I'm about to buy one of the Humax Youview boxes.

I wondered whether I'll be able to use it to record the 3d transmission of the Dr who 50th episode.

(Just out of interest!)

You should be able to.

But you won't be able to watch it properly if you don't have a 3D TV as you would see the image like this: http://cdn.physorg.com/newman/gfx/ne...asupportss.jpg

So the PVR doesn't need any special gubbins?

It's just a transmission like any other? Are you able to record off the red button transmissions by selecting the channel manually (is channel 303 or whatever?)

I set my Humax HD Fox-T2 to record the opening ceremony of the Olympics on BBC HD last year.

The BBC used that channel to broadcast the 3D signal so I received the split image of the ceremony.

So, the 3D transmission will be recorded by the Humax and replayed as it is received.

The box will record any rf-broadcast MHEG transmissions it receives.on any channel. Do you know that it will be on a Red Button channel?

I have recorded 3D content on my HDR-FOX T2, and played it back on my 3D TV. The only issue that I noticed was that the Humax GUI does not display properly when watching in 3D.
