I know she has her flaws and detractors, but there is something about Stacey Solomon I find endearing. Just seen her win £20k for The Alzheimer's Society on "Tipping Point " , coincidentally Rachel R. was a fellow contestant. She even offered to make good the money she gambled to go for the jackpot at the end. I would quite enjoy seeing her on Strictly.
She's only really known for doing ITV reality shows and I don't think her singing career has really taken off yet has it ? I find her annoying tbh - I've never been a fan of the ditzy persona either which drives me up the wall and when she got caught smoking whilst pregnant that left even more of a bad impression on me. I think she should stick with doing ITV shows - something like DOI would be more up her street. |

Whilst it's very good that she raised this money for charity, I'm afraid I would not want to see her on strictly.

I'm trying to decide if the Friday panel are going to provide celebs. Both Jenni Faulkner and Anneka Rice have been on the panel, so I'm wondering if they're considering it.

Alison Hammond has also made some 'My dream would be to dance with Anton' noises on Twitter.

I have high (and probably very unrealistic) hopes that Samantha Barks will do Strictly at some point... I think she'd be really good
Also, would like to see David Tennant, Russell Crowe, Russell Brand, Louise Dearman or Gina Beck... Let's face it, unlikely. But would be good right?

I have no idea who he is and I looked him up on google and I still have no idea who he is.
![]() I honestly don't think he's high enough profile. As for not having a high enough profile, there have been a couple every year who I have never heard of. |

I haven't heard of loads of people suggested.
This most probably means that they are ideal SCD contestants |

Given the flack that DVO got for *sitting on a chair in the West End, I think that professional West End performers would not be a good idea.
*allegedly She was also in the film version of Les Miserables, so I think she's in Hollywood now.

Christopher Biggins let it be known on the ITT panel that he's up for it. Whether Strictly is up for him is another matter.

I think Shane Ritchie should do the show. He would probably be great!
I would also like to see Freema Agyeman on Strictly, but I think that's unlikely. |

Time to expand the horizons. How about a cordon bleu chef, wildlife presenter, artist, media mogul (disgraced or otherwise), (proper) comedian, author, banker (disgraced or otherwise), disc jockey, explorer, philanthropist, Nobel prize winner, porn star, historian, cage fighter, doctor, game show host
So - Gordon Ramsey, Michaela Strachan, Grayson Perry, Rebekah Brooks, Reginald D Hunter, J K Rowling, Fred Goodwin, Chris Moyles, Ranulph Fiennes, Bill Gates, Barack H. Obama, Dita Von Teese, Dan Snow, Nikki Sahota, Jeremy Clarkson, Anne Robinson |

I wouldn't be against Stacey either, it's not like she's a KP type who does things wrong and think it's right, when Staceg was caught smoking during pregnancy she appeared on morning TV apologising in front of millions for it, saying that she was completely wrong and pointed out her flaws, where as KP went on a Spain sun holiday at 7 months and didn't think anything of it
Anyway I think it's highly unlikely she'll get a place on strictly, thank goodness! |
