Am I the only one who's sick of these two false looking woman being at the forefront of pro dances and generally dominating the show? I also seem to be on my own in not liking Ola; I don't think she's the nice 'girl' that she comes across as being. There's something about her bitchy looking face that I can't take to. Coupled with the fact that she's married to I love myself James, I wish they'd left before the start. However, somehow I don't think the show would ever be without precious Ola.

I have no problem with Ola, I love her humour, but Kristina - no thanks! I would rather see Ola and James dance at the forefront of EVERY pro dance than put up with Kristina pointlessly writhing around in a giant glass for three minutes.

I'd like to see more of the new females professionals, that's for sure.

I can take 'em or leave 'em.
Who decides who does what in the routines, I've no idea.
I think they take it in turns and who ever choreographs the routines probably chooses whom they thinks best to be at the front.
Individually, I think too, most get a turn.
Sometimes, someone you don't like can seem to be more "in your face" than they actually are.

I think Ola is very competitive and takes it all very seriously. She always has a "bit of a face on" when Tess is announcing who is staying, it is that important to her.

Hi Laballe, as I said, I think in in the minority with Ola so respect your opinion. Yes there needs to be more of a balance and focus on other dancing bringing their professionalism to the forefront. It seems that these two automatically get 'bragging rights.'

If that is true (and I'd not say so without checking back through enough routines) perhaps it is part of the production values that you have to "earn your stripes".

I'd hazard a guess that if this formula does apply, then when these two were relatively new, the older hands at the time got more of the limelight.

Besides, it is one thing to want to see a fairer distribution of the forefront (if indeed it is unfair) - quite another for the OP (not you) to descend into quite personal remarks about the dancers (by all means dislike them, but interpreting facial expressions as "bitchy"?)

Agree with your reasoning Wazzy, but also think it's a shame we're not getting to see more individual focus as a professional each week.

I do agree with you on that, but it seems unfair to blame or criticise any of the dancers for something that's unlikely to be their decision or choice.

I have no issue with either woman if I'm honest- although I seem to be getting the impression that Artem and Ola are becoming head boy and head girl amongst the professionals- from Ola's point of view it seems standard, since Erin and Flavia left, she's the longest serving female professional- and I suppose Artem's made quite an impression since winning with Kara in 2010... it's just quite peculiar and it seems to be coming more obvious this season...

I would say those two have a lot of influence on what goes on

I quite like how they make up for their partners deficiencies by contorting themselves every which way around them! Unlike their male counterparts they can't throw their partners about (lifts and what not) lol.

I can imagine that when the cameras stop rolling, they are divas. Even Brendan has calmed down and is more low key. This is the second series where I've warmed to him. It's just my feeling that Ola isn't as nice as she makes out - she is married to James the arrogant one - probably making a good couple. As I say, there's probably not many others on the forum who agree with me on the 'must keep Ola and Kristina' mantra - well not Ola anyway.

At a guess, the smaller ladies are going to be at a premium for the group dances where there's aerial stuff involved. I FF through that (and most of the results show) so I'm not fussed anyway.

Forgive me, but when you said that you would say they have a lot of influence (along with the wink sign) that you had some inside knowledge, rather than a hunch.

I think Kristina should probably tone down her make-up, as she wears far too much and it makes her look a bit harsh and cheap.

Both Kristina and Ola like to show themselves off in their Latin dances, often to the detriment of their partners. I don't rate either of them as choreographers.

It's my opinion but there's always somebody on here who can't just say I disagree and profer their reasons why. Instead, we get the obligatory childish comment.

I have no problem with Kristina and Ola - they are both good dancers and good-looking girls. As for looking false, which doesn't mean their personalities are false, take a look at all on Strictly - the females tend to go over the top with the make-up and hair -it's part of the show. If you're on about their hair colour - is it because the blonde is more noticeable - I bet the brunettes and the red heads are tampering with their hair colour too.

I have problems with people who ARE false in themselves - for example the sainted Susanna.

Thanks for a civilised response I agree with you on Susanna. She reckons that she is not sexy and doesn't appeal to men whilst playing up to the cameras. So yes a falseness which in itself is unattractive.

That's a a little uncalled for don't you think.

I have to declare that I'm a fan of Kristina and Ola.

I know what you mean about getting a first impression of someone from their facial expression, this happened for me with Deborah, you can't help but judge people from their facial expressions, its something that everyone does.

Hello Terry, I knew those remarks would come; sure there will be more. It's not really helpful when FMs make sly digs like that. Where's the insight? I suppose they mean I'm being catty. I guess this applies to all the FMs who make critques and observations that aren't favourable with this particular poster
