I can try and find it for you - it was on the Dailymaiil online site about 3 weeks' ago.

Hello madetomeasure, its a shame that this has to be the way, variety is the spice of life, it would be boring if everyone thought the same about everything and Kristina and Ola, freedom of expression is one of our most important liberties and should be respected, most reasonably minded people would agree with this I feel sure.

Ah- well I confess I found one online I didn't like, of her in a red bikini, sunnies and heels and red lippy, sitting legs akimbo on a boat, it was a bit brash. But the one you mention, I think it's OK to be honest.

I think with she and Kristina it's the easy way to go with those kind of shoots. If they're making money from it though suppose it is helping towards their nest eggs when looks and figures change. There is a vast difference between sexy and tarty. I think the likes of Cherie Lunghi and Fiona Fullerton are sexy - just my opinion though.

Hrmmm ... I'm starting to feel uncomfortable with your comments madetomeasure. It's one thing to critique them as dancers/choreographers and participants in SCD. But it seems to me that now they are being discussed as what ... tarts?

Well if you look at her calendar and see a nun then that's your perogative. I'm saying they don't look classy and it's sad to see they have taken the easy 'titilation' route.

That's not what I wrote and I'm not discussing Ola but the direction of your remarks and language, which seem to be increasingly denigrating of Ola in particular. She and Kristina are not the only members of SCD to engage in provocative photos. Some of the men have too and so singling them out seems inappopriate to me and irrelevant to a board discussing a dance programme.

Your links are the same as a trusted Terry link, they take you to where they say they are going to take you madetomeasure.

Photographs and art are very subjective areas and I guess every one is going to have a different opinion on how they view them, its a bit like Tracy Emins unmade bed, some like it and some don't.

By the way that's a very extreme example and in no way related to Kristina and Ola.

Well if your sensitivities can't take it then report the thread or move on from it. There are plenty of threads that make reference to having babies, getting married all sorts of things that go on off the show. My remarks and language are that of one adult talking to others.

Eek the bikini bottoms one....legs open is a bit cringey for me. It is soft porn.

I think it's a shame. She is talented, likeable, bright but not keen on that look personally.

If they are on Strictly then I guess they are putting themselves out there to be discussed about all their public activities.

She did a few suggestive shots. It's not really a big deal nor is it a reflection on her character. I wouldn't have an issue with the guys doing it either. If there's a market out there, use it. You only get one career.

It's not like they've gone into lap-dancing or prostitution. I really can't see the big deal. They shouldn't have to live up to someone else's standards.

I don't want to appear an aficionado, and I'm not trying to get you to do anything uncomfortable, but honestly, if you were to image search "soft porn" I'd like to think you'd rapidly see the difference.

any comment on their dancing? or is it just their looks you object to.

Would it matter if I was just commenting on their appearance and demeanour?

Those pics are incredibly airbrushed

With regard to them being at the forefront of the dances I guess it depends who is choreographing. With James being out early I guess he is doing more of the pro dances at the mo. I suppose pasha will be out soon enough and we will see more of anya, Aliona & Jeanette when he and artem have a go.

I love Ola - a fantastic looking girl who tries her heart out and is sexy without looking cheap.

All the pros presumably start in competitions where they have to stand out and be noticed by the judges. They are not the best formation dancers and I'll forgive a number of their faults in the formation dances, including being too showy.

I agree with this, although Kristina comes over slightly better in the vt's. In the dances i find her abit much what with throwing her legs open any chance she gets

I am sure someone posted in previous series that Kristina is one of the Group dance choreographers - in which case she would naturally put herself "Front and Centre".

Now James is out of the competition maybe he is also choreographing - hence he and Ola also F&C.

IIRC doesn't Natalie also do some Group Dance choreo?
Maybe if she is unable to partake others are filling in.

For what it's worth, I saw a tweet from Janette over the weekend saying that the producers decided who did what dance.

I think towards the end it tends to be the pros that are no longer involved, but in the early days I guess it can be any of them.

Also, with Ashley only doing 10 hrs training last week (and Aliona busy with CIN) Ola probably had the most free time to work on the high profile role.

So negative about Ola and Kristina

At the end of the day they're clearly good dancers because they were chosen to be professionals on Strictly (And Kristina was also in Burn The Floor last year along with Robin, Karen, Janette, Aljaz and Kevin, if I remember rightly) and as far as costumes go - that is decided by the wardrobe dept. I think they tend to go with what works in the past...

Also, choreography wise, they tend to do what they think is best for the celebrity.

As for Calendars - I've got both of them! It's up to them how they want to do their calendars, and they're both pretty enough to do it however they want... I quite like them anyway
