I think they are fab and really breathe new life into Ste!

I even love Leela, although I know she's gonna be a bit of a hate figure to most just now, I think she will be fab!

I really like them as well and I wasn't expecting too !!

Teegan is brilliant, she is going to be one to watch for the future. I like Peri and Danny as well, I'm not sure what to think of Sam but Leela is the only one I don't really like at the moment but that could change at any moment.

I love the whole family dynamic between them.

I love them too. It's weird seeing Ste with a family! It's great to see though.

I agree, I didn't think I would but I'm liking them so far. However, I do wish their arrival as a family was later purely because of the large amounts of storylines going on already.

Sam letting Ste know that she is from a family of crooks, is I think a not so subtle early set up for a reveal that Sam is related to one of the village gangsters either Fraser or the new guy.

I thought it was more about acceptance. I think Sam always feels somewhat uncomfortable with her family because of her previous postpartum depression and she can see that Ste is also uncomfortable because of his own background.

I had forgotten about this but Fraser does know Danny, they had that encounter in the coffee shop. I would have reckoned that Sam was Fraser's sister, but her maiden name seems to be Lacey. Maybe Fraser's surname is a lie.

Sam may have changed her name when she joined the Police, even if she is totally clean having a family connection to crime would be detrimental to her career.

They haven't just breathed new life into Ste, they've made the show seem much more fresh. Personally, the blast was a turn around for the show, up until then the show was getting a bit ridiculous with the reveals, sensationalism and stuff. The blast has tied up a lot of the ridiculous stuff: Clare, Browning, ect.. and now we're getting some good stuff again with the Lomaxes, although it doesn't seem to last for long because the show seems to have even more sensational stuff in the future (John Paul's rape - hyping it up to be a soap first - when the exact same soap did it 13 years previous).

I have found the Lomaxes a bit cheesy though, especially Rose's naming and the food fight, but it's Hollyoaks after all and every family is a bit cheesy/cringe worthy when they're new.
