Hi all,

Can anyone tell me if any really old episodes of Coronation Street are shown anywhere on Sky at all?

Similar to what UK Gold does with EastEnders?

Thanks x

This December Corrie is 45 years old lets write to Granada/ITV and ask if we can have Corrie from the start on ITV4.
When plus started they refused to start Corrie from the start as they thought the black and white years would put viewers off just goes to show the current shower of TV executive don't know what viewers want

Granada Plus showed classic episodes of Corrie for the entire 8 years they were on air, they started with episodes from April 1976 (when Elsie Tanner came back from Newcastle) and had reached early 1994 by the end.

I agree, we should all write to ITV and ask them to show classic corrie on one of their channel's - there is next to no chance of it being on ITV1/2 but ITV3 or the new ITV4 when it launches are possibilities.

I've already emailed them about it.

Yes but it was very vague - they are passing on my comments to ITV producers or something.
