I was having a look around the buy mobile website and on their home page it says Orange and T Mobile are to drop the Works and Full Monty plans from October 30?

I had a quick Google and couldn't find anything; does anyone know what new plans they are to offer?

Cheers!

doubt it.

Most likely related to buymobiles.net stop selling EE plans or changing or something.

All that i'm aware of is the EE4G tariff changes.

Wouldn't surprise me if fully monty gets dropped as that is the last unlimited data package EE offers.

That's part of their scheme to get everyone on EE4G.

Retail Area Managers are forcing stores to only sell EE contracts with 4G devices in store. They're also telling stores to push EE4G even if it's not right or needed for the customer.

Another reason why they are losing so many customers, and have a lot of unhappy ones.

I wonder why they aren't just rebranding T-Mobile and Orange to EE 3G as it would save confusion and set up some new EE 3G plans for new contracts and allow existing customers to change tariff as long as its the same tariff or more per month.

Because that would make too much sense.

And because they can mislead people by suggesting all of these people moved to EE for 4G, which wouldn't be the case if everyone was on EE.

Just sign up to an EE plan even if you don't have 4G coverage and even if you and it gives you less data and costs more.

Love and kisses EE Customer Service (we have targets to meet you know!)

Yes I expect they will drop legacy tariffs at some point. Even If they piss off some customers and they leave they wont care as they will make more money with those who sign up.

Well they are in business to make money and tariffs can end at any point, as long as they give you the option to leave or the tariff expires at the end of your contract. It makes business sense in some cases to do that.

Im referring to the distinct possibility that older tariffs may not be offered for much longer.

Here is a list of Legacy Orange tariffs:
