damaged iphone 4, replacement?
hello! I've an iPhone 4 which was dropped, and despite it surviving many knocks and bumps in the past, this resulted in a crack in the top corner of the screen. There has now developed a permanent smudge of yellow near the damage... this is a 2nd hand phone I've had for more than 18 months, if I book into Genius Bar will I be offered a like-for-like replacement for a charge?

http://support.apple.com/kb/index?pa...product=iphone I would check a local repair shop TBH or look at getting a 4S second hand. |

I suppose with paying Apple £126 you get a bit of a guarantee that it is fully working whilst a 4s picked up on eBay might have been dropped multiple times like mine has been...!
