It puzzles me how EE can publish a website in its current state, what a mess!

Its not so much how much data you and mins on 12 month contract its more the being able to get a new phone each year.

Well if EE have done away with 12 month contracts I better start saving for 5S then just go Sim only route.

On Sim only 12 month contract do you still get double speed services ?

Is it just me or do the tmobile unlimited data plans only come with 500 min max now?

The entire operation seems Mickey Mouse.

They need some organisation and their website redesigning .

This will enable thickos like me to make head or tail of it all

I don't think anyone does!

The website is a complete mess! It also looks very uncompetitive when you look at just price plans only. It seems to be more expensive on high end phones, but very cheap (compared to O2/Voda) on low end phones.

I don't think the person who came up with the website layout did either...

If i'm honest it is typical EE, rushed. The best products are those where the people behind them dot the i's and cross the t's!

Could be great if they just applied common sense and slowed down when signing things like this off.

In this case EE crossed the i's and dotted the t's

They really need a filter of some sort on their SIM Only plans. Maybe split 12 months and 30 days as well.

Also a better font and spacing on the contract page would go a long way. Also the prices quoted are for the top end phones. They should really state "From £18.99" rather than "£47.99" as standard.

^^^ HA!!

Or just forgot to put any i's or t's at all..

Interesting, it looks as if the SIM only phone plans (30day or 12month) no longer have access to the double speed network. Glad I signed up in Sept!. Even if you pay £61/m for 20GB of data :-/ sheesh.

I says double speed at the bottom of the page.
DOUBLE SPEED 4GEE

Get double speed 4G that's even faster than most home broadband on plans with 4GB of data or more.

Insane website - why doesn't the Speed column then have the "Double Speed" logo that they have on the rest of the site? Huh.

Because it is one of the worst websites I have ever seen.

Really tempted by the £21/26 SIM only deal. Can't decide if it is worth the extra £5 for 2GB more data. I guess the added bonus of more data is double speed internet.

Looking at their out of price plan call charged it seem horrendous even calling abroad starts at a mimum of 50p. Will have to check that against my current T Mobile tariff.

I did. I had a GeoCities account. In fact I had 5 with some js to divert bandwidth between them. That is why they closed them all down.

Unfortunately EE will have lost me as a customer by the time my current SIMO agreement expires next month.

I prefer 12 month airtime contracts (yes, I know it costs more etc) myself and with EE dropping them it's put me off, unfortunately.

Well I'm a happy customer today. As I mentioned in my original post I signed up a week ago not realising I the new plans where imminent. I called yesterday saying I wasn't happy that they new plans at my price point now offered 3GB data and not 1GB or than my current 1GB plan was now £16 a month. Anyway they all seemed a bit unsure yesterday as it was the first day of the new plans so I chased up today and they switched me to the 31 plan which give 3GB data for the same price currently paying.

Thanks, not sure if everyone else would be so lucky, but I was fortunate to still be within my 14 day cooling off period. If you're someone else who only recently signed up the I'd definately recommend asking. Rather than just speak to CS, I selected the option that I was "thinking of leaving EE" figuring they usually have more power to make things happen/do a deal that usual customer sevice team.

Well looks like all the really good SIM only deals have disappeared from their site today.
