iPhone 5S product recall due to faulty battery
Everything Goes
30-10-2013
Some iPhone 5S have faulty batteries and are being recalled.

"We recently discovered a manufacturing issue affecting a very limited number of iPhone 5S devices that could cause the battery to take longer to charge or result in reduced battery life," said Teresa Brewer, an Apple spokeswoman, told the New York Times.

"We are reaching out to customers with affected phones and will provide them with a replacement phone."

Apple declined to say precisely how many iPhones are affected by the botched battery design, but indicated it was in the thousands.

So how do we know which models are affected? Is there a specific serial number?

They won't tell, it's all like an undercover operation with Apple, they won't even call it a problem, it's just an issue. Well, the battery may not work correctly, but at least it's thin.
