When I was given a demo of NOWTV in Birmingham Bullring, I came across the NOWTVUS app. I didn't get much chance to paly around with it, but it described itself as an American expat service where you could get ABC/NBC/CBS/FOX on the NOWTV box.

I've tried Googling this and have found nothing.
Was it an accidental addition to the box which is "yet-to-be-unveiled"?

Anyhow, I somehow doubt any UK residents can get this without having to supply a utility bill or something!

This site should explain everything: http://www.ustvnow.com

Basically on a Roku / Now TV box, you get a few channels for free for 45 days (as long as when you sign up, you promise that you're a USA Ex-pat, but they don't check).

After 45 days, you can still watch for free, but only on a PC.

You can subscribe to watch anything/everything on the Roku box, but to be honest, unless you're a night-owl, you'll want the PVR functionality to make it of any real use.

Of course, this is if you happen to be a US ex-pat, but they do take international credit cards and I haven't seen any checks other than a confirmation tick-box.

As Orangy said.

Can't be used within the US either, but anywhere outside. Video quality is actually quite good.

There are screenshots and a review over here.

"USTVNOW"... that'll be why NOWTVUS came up with no results!
Thanks.
