With so many female Blondes professional dancers on Strictly Come Dancing now its hard sometimes to tell them apart in a group dance.

I think Iveta is definitely winning the battle of the blondes (if there is one!) She is doing wonders with Mark and I have serious leg-envy when watching her dance.

OMG! serenity how could I forget Kristina, thank you so much for correcting me, I just managed to edit the opening post in time, without you our Queen of Strictly Come Dancing would have been on the Blonde missing list, thanks again so much, Kristina would never have forgiven me.

I would say Ola and Iveta are the most convincing blondes. Kristina looks a bit of a bottle job to me. However it's a good bottle job and my hunch is she is blonde but has some help to give her the Munroesque look.

Though Aliona was a redhead.

Aliona is not a blonde but I like her with red hair. I am sure she'd look good with blonde too.

Aliona is blonde at the moment - she's gone from long red hair to short blonde.. And she suits every single hair style they throw at her!

Aliona's hair cuts always look lovely, but I have to say that I do prefer her as a Blonde rather than a red head, she looks cuter to me Blonde.

Erin made an interesting blonde.

Only Natalie could give Iveta a run for her money.

It's not really blonde, it's still red, just a lighter, softer shade.


I thought blonde didn't suit Erin at all. She looks much more striking with dark hair.

Aliona looks like a Blonde in this photo, I can't detect any red shading.

I'd say Aliona's shade seems more strawberry blonde these days.

I think Erin looks ok with the blonde shades, but agree she looked much better and more sophisticated with the darker hair.

Incidentally since someone has mentioned that Aliona looks good as a red head or blonde - other pros that have looked good with different shades - Katya - looks great as a blonde or brunette as does Anya.

As the weeks of Strictly are passing Iveta seems to be building a very strong fan base with her unique blend of charm and humour on the show, its going to be fabulous to see what she has come up with for Mark on Saturday.

It will also be great to hear from two of her biggest fans here soon, Pippa and Monsy have always supported her loyally through the early days.
