Lady Gaga - Dope (final promo single from ARTPOP)
It's going to be released on November 4, a week before the album: http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/music/ne...e-artwork.html
Anyone else looking forward to it? |

Anyone else looking forward to it? This modern way of snippets and promo singles is mind numbing . |

In some ways it's a pity the album won't be released next week. I'm dying to have it in my hands at last.

I'm looking forward to it.
I cannot wait to actually hold this album though, it feels so right this time, I can't wait. |

I'm already starting to feel that this whole era is already dated sounding and all because the whole hype and pre launch has went on for over a year.
One things for sure Lady Gaga is The Queen of hype but lacks either style charisma or the talent. She reminds me of Michael Jackson in the late eighties early nineties it's all just media attention for being an oddball rather than musical accomplishment at the moment. I really do hope the album lives up to all the hype and pre release promotion as the gimmicky behaviour and constant snippets and leaks are wearing thin. Especially the so called SOS emergency release of Applause which really amounted to Poor sales and chart positions overall to the predicted sales and positions they expected which I think wasn't helped with all the confusion of release dates etc. I hope her Jazz album will show a more likeable character that people can relate to again. Which should also hopefully show her musical ability as she does have an amazing musical capability without all the hype and pre release build up. |

I wish these promo tracks and snippets that are being releaseed were the songs sang at the iTunes festival. When I listen to the album I want to hear songs I've never heard before but I can't help but listen to everything that gets released or leaked

I admit that Gaga's latest looks and image get more attention but the music is at it's best (so far in her career) in my opinion. She's delivering something new but yet typical Gaga. I always said she was lyrically a brilliant song writer, she'll never be given credit for that, some artists just aren't credited on their song writing because people are far too engrossed in the theatrics and performance. Also, the whole ARTPOP "hype" really didn't start until about August of this year, until then it was just a few tweeted lyrics every couple of months. |

I've got it, but i pre-ordered ARTPOP so it downloads anyway. Fans seem split on this song. I didn't love it at first listen but the most I play it the more I love it, it's so sad and a very honest song from her.

Since I'm not a huge fan of Gaga's i decided to give the album a listen anyway and I wasn't keen on it. However, I do really like this song. I think for me, I like Gaga's more honest songs because I prefer her stripped back. I'm a fan of her songs like Speechless and Hair, so it was obvious I'd like this lol
