Android 4.4
Why can't any Android tablet just upgrade to the latest software version? I only got my tablet last month (Asus MeMo Pad HD 7) and its already 2 software versions behind.
![]() I could understand if my tablet were 2/3 years old - but 2 months? ![]()

I read the new version is designed to run on even low spec devices, so maybe manufacturers will want to make their devices all work with it. Who knows. I had an HTC phone and it felt like it was never updated. HTC where only interested in their next phone not their current ones. I eventually rooted and added a custom firmware.
