Digihome DG250DTRA08 series link not working

Hello. Hope someone can help. I have 2 of these machines, with no problems, until last week, when one died. Got a replacement and finally managed to update the software on it. It is working great, however, the only thing that is not working is the series link. When i go to the guide and press record, say for Emmerdale (I have tried numerous programmes) it will only record that one episode, whereas, my identical machine with the same software, pops up with series record box. Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks

Are you using the same guide on each box? Might be worth trying the 8 day guide instead of 14 day or vice versa.

Is that really the case? I was under the impression that your newly acquired machine was 4.34 but your identical machine was on 7.09?

Hello. On my old machine, the power had died, so swapped the 'new' power over to the old machine which was running the 7.09 software

Just to explain why, the 8 day guide is the standard Freeview one and the 14 day guide was broadcast by TUTV, or at least on their behalf. So, it would seem the TUTV shutdown involved switching off the EPG updates and software updates already.

Hi both
I have the same box and the epg died along with TUTV.
I reformatted and now I have the 7 day guide so I can use the box.
However I cannot get series link to work,can you explain how you achieved this.
