It's nice to see them finally selling them. The only thing that would put me off is the speed cap at 384kbps but the standard person wouldn't notice this cap when signing up so they may get lots of people still going for the iPhone on Virgin.

Be interesting to see how they price it. I'm sure they'll give some kind of discount for Virgin Media customers at least.

I'm happy with my 4s, but i'll certainly keep an eye on this.

Oh this is good news for Virgin customers and hopefully the price plans are not extortionate. Before I moved to Three mobile I was with Virgin and I found that they were a very good network to be on and if you stay with them they constantly send you extra offers, and the offers are actually quite good value too.

I will have to tell my mum and sister about this as they are still with Virgin Mobile and I'm sure that they would like an iPhone.

On the 'My Apps' section of 'My Virgin Media' it mentions a Spotify offer coming in the Autumn. I wonder if there will be a free Spotify offer on the Iphones because of their partnership together..

Vodaphone offer free Spotify at the moment.

The priceplans are in ..

Quote:
“A range of 24-month contracts are on offer, from £41 a month for the 16GB iPhone 5S and £33 a month for the 16GB iPhone 5C.

The £41 a month comprises 1,200 minutes, unlimited texts and 1GB of data, with a £69 upfront fee. The iPhone 5C's £33 contract has a £29 upfront fee, but comes with 200 minutes, unlimited texts and 500MB of data.

Upgrading the 5C to the 32GB model comes at £41 and provides the same amount of minutes, texts and data as the 5S pricing plan.

The 32GB and 64GB iPhone 5S handsets increase to £59 and £71 a month respectively, both offering unlimited minutes and texts. The former comes with 3GB of data, while the latter is unlimited.

Virgin Media also revealed that it would start selling the 8GB iPhone 4S at £23 a month with no upfront fee, including 100 minutes, 250 texts and 250MBs of data.”

Haven't really compared the plans to other networks to see if it's competitive though ..
