evening

Good news is my money is not an issue. The council sent a payment for my rent the day after the letter I received was sent so I just need to pay half rent as I thought I was meant to. Bad news is I don't qualify for Council tax benefit. Not a massive issue there though as I'm only going to be working for another 3 more months and it's something I can afford to pay (It's only around £900 for a year)

On the really bad side. I got sent home from work today. I was that ill they insisted, and frankly I've spent the day in bed sleeping and coughing up a lung so I'm glad. The really bad news is because there is some threshhold I don't reach I can't Statutory Sickpay. So in order to get all my wages for Decemeber I have to make up about 6-7 hours next week. Mean getting to work at 8am instead of 9am. I hate mornings I hate being sick.

Oh it seems I'm not the only one sick as a few other people at work had sniffles and on the way home I saw at least 5 other people with signs of illness. It's really getting around. (I got sick from someone else at work)

Anyway. How is everyone else?

Evening CB! Hopefully you'll be fit enough to go in tomorrow? Will they let you have half hour lunch breaks and make up 30mins of time that way?

I survived the cat wimmin but an hour before they were due to arrive I realised I had no milk, so legged it to the next village for some moo juice. On getting back I discovered the sewage lorry had arrived to slurp out our sump, blocking the narrow country road, so I couldn't get back to the cottage and everywhere STUNK like you cant imagine

Anyway, the lorry and its stinky cargo left just before they descended in a yowling mass and two hours of shouting later, we managed to agree a compromise between the warring factions of Welfare Team and Rehoming. Only one of them mentioned the interesting aroma

The way I feel it will be unlikely I'm well enough tomorrow.
Monday is my pre-set day off so I'll see how I feel then and if I'm up I'll call to come in for that day to make some hours.

Wow your area must REAK!

Gorgeous, these were Lidl cheese straws...when Mrs T came to mine we saw off an entire packet, all 99p worth, in less than half an hour one night! I've got a few left and trying to resist the urge to scoff them all. GOing to need the mother and father of diets in the new year

After a fair bit of sucking I expect you'd find a liquid centre
