I echo them aswell, I am so lucky even though there are members I don't speak to etc but so grateful for the ones I do because they're amazing <3

On nights like tonight (and all of yesterday) my Nan would be thanking her lucky stars that she had a roof over her head and thinking about those poor people who don't. Bet you everything I own that she's still doing it now bless her cotton socks. I miss her so much. Would have probably gone to see her today aswell as would have on Saturday. But I know she's close by, she's letting herself be known shall we say

I'm lucky in that the wind probably won't keep me up as I can't really hear once my hearing aids are out. I know it's bad because I CAN hear both the rain and wind because it's so terrible. Usually I can't.

Did anyone see the footage of 3 planes trying to land at Birmingham airport? That's right by my flipping house!!! Don't know if it made the national news, certainly made the local ones. Two aborted and one managed but only JUST!

Twassington's Christmas dramas continue, she has no power at home..........bloody winds. Thank goodness her son and DIL are not too far away!

Yikes! I thought I was going to have to pack up Christmas and take it to me son's! Power went around midnight, and came on just now....thank goodness for that!!!

ah well time to go Christmas shopping is nearly here again... 2 more hours to go .. I cant believe its been a year already...

Well, despite one further power cut and problems with the water as a big tree falling has damaged the main down by my landlady's place, all is well, Fish dish made for tonight, bird stuffed, buttered, plastered in bacon, and wrapped in foil in the fridge.....veg prepped, stuffing made...so not too much to do for tomorrow! Giblets simmering for gravy!!

just back from the shoppages and i can only say DIRE! never seen it so dead ...
i was expecting the usual carnage but nope i seen busier weekdays in june....

guess the shops will all be doom and gloom about trading figures in the new years...

Awww been out all afternoon seeing my godparents & one of their daughters and her husband.

Then also seen my cousin & one of her two children, she's 5 so she's excited for Santa

Ahhhh! My friend H should be round in 20 to drop off my pressie

My sister A has come home too although she and rest of our siblings are off for a meal with their Dad soon
