Last FF game I played was X. I was in awe at how graphically impressive it was (for it's time), but I didn't really get too far into it.
I loved the story of FFVII and to a lesser extent FFVIII, but the random battles started to annoy the hell out of me. I prefer my RPGs a bit like Eternal Sonata or Borderlands.
