Unsure whether to drop everything and go back to London to see Mum, or wait and go on Monday as planned.....waiting on phonecalls etc! She isn't too bad but isn't too good either, so unclear what's best!! The one disadvantage of living so far away

Twass, I'm sorry to hear your Mum isn't doing too good. I have heard from Splintz as he PM'd me on Thursday (about 4am) and then again last night but I couldn't reply to his message as his inbox was full. He wasn't happy with his parents as per But I think he's okay apart from his collarbone annoying him!!! But I wouldn't swear on my life though because I know what he's like bless him.

I've been busy. Finally washed out the hamster's cage as it hadn't been done for two weeks poor love. I wash it every week but these past few days have just been so manic. Stress! Charlie's had his bath and may have ringworm If he does, we can also catch it. Great! Also been working on my three deadlines for next Tuesday. Just finished my two presentation slides. Just got my 1500 word report to finish now and write my 1000 words rationale.

Whatever I don't do today I'll finish on Sunday if my aunty comes over tomorrow which she might do

Got it and replied! I'm a bit more glued to the phone today due to mum! I will be off there tomorrow to visit her, spent much of the day on the phone and would have gone today only had promised DIL would do something for her today that was quite important and did not like to let her down at the eleventh hour, so off tomorrow. Mum is being looked after and they are not concerned about her, just investigating why she is still not fully well after a weeks worth of antibiotics!

Glad Splint is in the land of the living, same old same old, eh Crazy 4am is par for the course!!!

I'm not surprised you've been more glued to your phone today. Hope you can enjoy your visit with her tomorrow. I'm sure your DIL will appreciate you not letting her down today. I'm glad they're looking after her and not concerned. Really hope she's on the mend soon, sounds like she perhaps has something else going on. Maybe a secondary infection or something? I know when my Nan wasn't well last year it was a big combination of small things and one big thing that got her so unwell.
