You are reminding me of when my daughter was a teenager, and she would be phoning all her friends making sure they went out looking like a bunch of clones!!! And oddy enough she belonged to a group of very alternative girls who wore gothy/punk outfits so they looked nothing like the vast majority of teens at the time but they still all slavishly wore almost identical alternative goth/punk dresses, or trousers, etc

not clones its just I`d feels a reet leming if I was slumming it and they were in the posh frocks ..
