I have just been asked "what kind of men do you like"
I replied "nice ones ( arseholes will be killed boiled in acid then made into soup) "

Morning all peeps. Didn't find Mum at all well in London, she refuses to eat anything ....my son and DIL are off to see her tomorrow, as not looking good She is over the infection but I think she's just had enough! I will be going back in a couple of days of course.
Oh Twass This really breaks my heart as my Nan wasn't eating very much at all before she was admitted to hospital. So I know how this feels Glad she's managed to eat a wee bit today

must be you works for me

I couldn't view it either, said I had to log in but don't know if that was the same for Mrs T or not

Down in the dumps today for some reason. Black dog
Believe it or not I was tidying a cupboard and found a Jigsaw, so started it earlier on. Made up a sack for the charity shop too, shirts that have shrunk in the wash etc

Fortunately I don't suffer from the black dog - even at times when possibly I really should

I always look on the bright side of life

I often thank my stars I am a born optimist

Thanks Crazy, I live in hopes she will rally round, but realistically I know she is fading and the most I can hope for is a year or two at best. So long as she doesn't suffer....she hated it in hospital. I asked the home not to let her go back

Cheers.
I can relate to Twass's predicament as my old gran has Alzheimers/dementia too, she's 90, and its been playing on my mind, the condition being in my family.
Worries me often, old age.
*get a grip bob!*

You're welcome and I can also sadly relate to Twass for reasons I explained in my post to her. I bet it has been playing on your mind, it's truly heartbreaking

Anyway never tell yourself to get a grip, it's okay to worry about our family and it's okay to have bad/off days.

I even cried in public earlier after a massive shaking anxiety attack because they refused to do my blood donation.

They will take my blood Sons

They just couldn't do it today because of the eczema on my elbows which means they are not allowed to put the wipe/gel stuff on my elbow to help get up the vein etc

Lol you're funny

I know they're funny about taking blood from those who have had blood and stuff before 1990s

My operations were fine as they were in 1990 & 2003

Thanks CrazyLoop.
Yes, my gran still lives in her little flat, she goes to day centres most days, keeps her ticking over I think. She still goes to her church every Sunday too, we pick her up.
I've noticed my father this past little while getting a bit forgetful, repeating himself often though.
Plays on my mind, and you just can't help but worry.

I'm really glad she's still managing to live independently and getting out, that'll hopefully help Is your Mum still around to talk to about your concerns Bob? (((((Bob))))

No, I don't get on with my mother. She left my brother and I in our early teens.
My missus tolerates me, she's cool
Melancholy runs in my family I'm afraid. That's why I like DS chatter, since I joined last year, I can post nonsense and the folks are great, if that makes sense

Ah okay. I'm glad you have your missus to talk to Bob. I love Chatter, absolutely great for nonsense esp this thread but it also allows for the occasional serious chats too

I said to my Headteacher last week that I would run around like a loon when my house sale completed.....his reply "That would be like a normal day for you"

Most of the folks on here are great Robert be as you are but never be a liar, tis not a good thing to be. I ended up watching the tail end of a film then and now shattered

Yep, your right. I'll toddle off now and read a book I'm getting into.
Goodnight CrazyLoop, thanks.
