Morning all! I think my IC went on go slow last night, everything eternally loading but not actually getting there

Yesterday was fun.
On teh bus back home and we got stuck as some idiot had parked on double yellows and left their car and it blocked traffic both ways. Waited about 10 minutes as other buses tried to squeeze through the gap. Worse still is that there are two major bus stops right where he decided to park.

Then of course walking back from getting some takeaway some shifty guys ran past me and someone was shouting at them. Then chased them down the road.

This is why I hate dealing with people most of the time.

THe world is full of inconsiderate people CB. I love living isolated where I do, I love the sound of silence Well, other than cows and tractors and guns but that's the country for you. I like who I like, but in general I don't like crowds, music festivals being the exception to that...but then I go to small crusty festivals where everyone is just like me

I like living in a town so I'm half and half. Enough people about so it doesn't get boring, not too many people so it becomes annoying. Perfect

I like Canterbury town in little doses.....but its a world away from London!! I'd never go back to London if I didn't have to.

Hope your knee is on the mend now Mrs T and you'll manage the journey to work OK tomorrow!

Afternoon all

Ah I love living in the town that I do, only a few miles away from the country's second city Although Manchester is trying to steal that title

I used to live in the countryside, such a lovely house that was even if the bathroom was downstairs (a pain when you need a wee in the night lol) with its front & back gardens, a proper fire and everything

I like London as a tourist. Probably couldn't live there though.

I'd give Camden Town a shot.

Camden is cool to stay in for a while, not to live....it's very dirty these days and a bit "faux cool"...whereas it used to be the business for atmosphere....still vastly better than most of London though! And the food stalls selling treats from all round the world are hard to beat

I know what you mean Eugene, a happy balance, Preston is not overly big, just a small City and the town centre is bearable with not bloody great big sky scraper things

LOL not sure my sis would have liked that, we used to share a room & bunkbed together. She naturally had the top Ironically enough, those beds were moved into my Nan's house when we came back here

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay. Must set that to record actually.
