I swear money is just being thrown at me now.
Got my working tax credits through this week
Got paid a day early
and Just received a Christmas check from my Aunt for £100

I will ring her sometime this weekend and thank her. She lost her husband this year (my uncle) and I would feel terrible if I don't ring and say thank you.

Looks like a good Chrimbo will be had, then! I went to the Xmas Fayre at the hospice, it was brilliant, I could have spent three times as much, but on getting there realised I only had about £12 Spent the lot and owe DIL £4 Not enough for cake though

I did get a lovely home made little wreath made of pine cones, some more big pine cones and dried orange slices, a jar of spicy apple and walnut chutters [although will donate this to our Cats Protection CHristmas raffle hamper], two lovely hand made little brass bowls with enamel patterns and a hand made owl. Because you can never have enough owls. I dare not count the owls in this house

There were loads of folk there and the Sally Army band outside playing carols....really festive atmosphere!! DIL got my son a chocolate tree, some enterprising person had made all sorts of sweetie trees...his was a cadburys choc eclair sweet tree. It was only when she picked it up it had a pink pot! She will do it black with nail varnish before Chrimbo

Noticed there's another festive fair on tomorrow in my local village hall.....must resist, must resist

It seems Jet loves his new ball He was bit unsure (and still is I think) but he's having fun exploring

Do they do kongs for little animals? The dogs absolutely LOVE their kongs [due to the treat inside] and know the word kong!!
